This quest is similar to the other ones, except that the lesser elementals' signature ability, Opportune Strike cannot be interrupted, and for some reason stuns stop working too(even though Cheap Shot works normally when opening with it). But, frankly, they just die before they can even cast it.

The bigger ones appear to have some kind of damage reduction and hit quite hard.

Edit: The similarity, special abilities and interrupts didn't go live.

Thrall：We are patient.

Aggra：He did NOT just say that!

Aggra：Damn you, Go'el - WAKE UP! Don't let it end like this! We've come too far to fail now!

Thrall：We are patient.
Aggra：Oh, don't you tell ME to be patient, you green-skinned...

Thrall：NOW. AWAKEN.

Thrall：Aggra...I heard your voice...calling me back... Where are we?

Aggra：You're almost home, my love. Our time is so brief. You will change again, Go'el - but I will find you! I'll NEVER give up on you!

Thrall：Aggra? Aggra! I can't hear- (AHHHH!)

I abandoned this quest as I couldn't find the NPC I needed to speak so, I found out later that you can't do this quest unless you have completed the entire Deepholm chain leading up to unlocking Therazane reputation.

So just carry on, complete all Deepholm quests and then the NPC will be there waiting for you.

You don't have to do any of the quests in Deepholme.
I did this without having done anything here.
If you miss it, Aggra is either at the earthmother, or back in Vashj'ir.

I wish there was a post on how to kill the elites solo.....but maybe you simply cant unless you're an uber geared DK....oh well.

The elites hit really hard. If you're IM-patient like myself and go after the elites to get more % per kill, you will likely die unless you're very well geared.

The small guys heal themselves. The key is to either burst them down quick, or to interrupt their heals. Each small guy is worth 5% of your bar.

these quest are another prove why people hate bugalysm & activision since this xpac:

you dc you are screwed
the mobs are completly overtuned...

Having gone through this quest chain a few times now I have this irking feeling that the quests were modified after the dialogue had been recorded. I see absolutely no evidence or sign of the Twilight Hammer. It would take a very wild stretch to interpret "Corestone of Patience" and "Element of Patience" into "Twilight Hammer minion".

This on top of the fact she makes repeated remarks half way through previous phases about "bracing ourselves" and the what not makes me think that Blizzard originally had a different idea for these quests but then changed it before release and had no desire to re-record the voice acting.

Aggra: We need your help! Do something!

With a bunch of neutral elementals around us seems very out of place and I think supports this theory. I have a feeling the originally intended portion of this quest was to have waves of Twilight Hammer cultists attack with increasing intensity. In the end it was changed to this split of the elements concept.

Despite some interesting lore I found this whole quest chain to be exceedingly dry. Four rounds of the exact same quest with mobs that are obnoxiously high tuned. Not to mention it feels really awkward helping Thrall as an Alliance member. :-\

Stay away from the cliff because they sometimes will knock you right off, you die from the fall and get to start all over. This quest isn't quite as bad as the air elemental quest as far as pulling another elemental in to the fight but it still happens so be VERY careful about pulling. You can use AoE but only when you know that the wandering elementals aren't around and other elementals are nowhere nearby.

There are, if I remember them all, three distinct lines of attack they can have. One heals itself but all you have to do is wear it down until it's out of mana and then it's easy to kill. It also doesn't attack you until it's out of mana which is a huge plus for a caster. Another throws boulders at you which causes minor damage but they can add up if they throw enough at you. A third knocks you back and interrupts you.

Just picked up this quest on my alt. I disconnected during it but when I reconnected the kill count bar wasn't there until I killed an elemental, then the kill count went back up to what it was before I disconnected. I was killing ele's with some dude while not in a group, the kills went up and up until I reached 100, then the bar disappeared but couldn't turn in the quest - nothing happened. Livid! Had to abandon quest, re-take it and do it all over again.

I am suprised no one commented on how badly made this quest is.

I was stuck on it for about 30 minutes, then I just ragequit, as im quite tired I sometimes don't see my health bar, so I died I don't know how many times.

Whoever designed this quest line, please die a slow and terrible death.

If you arrive at Therazane's Throne after completing Elemental Bonds: Desire and Therazane and Aggra mysteriously disappear, you may coincidentally happen to be on the quest Our Part of the Bargain, or any one of Therazane's The Stone March quest chain located at the Halcyon Egress, Twilight Precipice and/or Temple of Earth (depending on which one you're on) in Deepholm. You will unfortunately be phased out of Therazane's Throne until you complete that chain. Both her and Aggra will reappear at Therazane's Throne for you to continue "Thrall's Epic Cloak Chain" after you complete the last quest, The Binding, and you may as well pick up The Stone Throne from Therazane since that's the quest that unlocks the Therazane Reputation dailies. XD

Easy enough quest, just kill the mobs like you have been doing for the water and air, only annoying thing about this is that they heal theirselves, it does take patience lol

Forgot to keep an eye on my health bar while I was killing the elementals and died. Don't die. Because your bar will reset and the last 15 elementals that you killed will count for nothing.

Speak with Aggra when you are ready to help Thrall. Then defeat the Elements of Patience and Corestones of Patience that are holding him captive.
