It took me a bit to figure this one out, since my server was completely overfarmed.

There are small mounds of 3-5 "vegetables" of differing types clustered around the small yellow huts, protected by packs of Kunzen Collectors Kunzen Collector and Kunzen Rockflingers Kunzen Rockflinger.

I found it useful to turn off Enemy Name Plates (by default: 'v' key) so I could more easily see the vegetables.

You have to loot each vegetable separately, you won't get the whole stack with a single loot.

Some of the veggies are Under the huts and are hard to see until you are next to them.

You might get lucky enough to be able to land and steal the vegetables back without pulling anyone. That's what I did for most of mine.

If you're a druid, you can loot the vegetables in Flight Form without aggroing the mobs. Just stay close, but do not land on the ground.

This quest is about impossible unless you have an army with you. Lv 90 shadow priest and I couldn't keep up with healing myself. Finally got it, but died about a half dozen times. Probably won't be doing this one again!

Highly unlikely you will get all 16 without having to take out some Hozen first. Fly around & scout where the veggies are, pick your target based on fewer mobs or Ravengers & drop in pick up & fly off to next target.
Likely you will do this with a quest to kill either 8 or 12 Hozen as well so try to concentrate of Rock flingers or collectors if possible.

BTW - it is very unsporting to steal veg while another player (who got there first) is clearing the nearest mob. However, it's a cruel world out there so it does happen. Just remember there's plenty of veg around for everyone.

if you kill some hozen and die, you cant get back up there from the graveyard without rez sickness. On the other hand you have less agro so it's a tad easier to get the rest of the veg

This quest may be a reference to Kali's morality from "In Desert and Wilderness" novel written by by Henryk Sienkiewicz. In original: "If somebody takes Kali's cow, it's a bad deed. If Kali takes somebody's cow, it's a good deed."

Description

The hozen, up in the mountains to the west, continue to steal vegetables from my fellow farmers. Being so close to Halfhill, I very rarely suffer hozen attacks, but my friends have not been so lucky.

Seems to me like they steal way more than they can eat. If you can find any intact vegetables up there in those mountains... steal them back!
