Not sure why this is listed as requiring level 1... presumably, this'll be fixed in the near future.

Essentially, when you hit 60, you'll now receive this quest (or its counterpart, quest 32675, if you're Alliance) to go back to Orgrimmar and learn your basic flight.

There's no real perk for actually going and doing so -- you can train just as easily in Outland (if you're already out there) and you gain nothing (gold, xp, guild xp) for actually coming back to turn this in.

(Conversely, if you're in Orgrimmar anyways, no reason not to turn it in. It's just taking up space in your quest log otherwise.)

Most players get to level 60 in Outland, Hellfire.
For Alliance this quest would require that you leave Hellfire and travel all the way back to Stormwind City to visit Bralla Cloudwing (a flight instructor). This would seem to be a very, very long trip for a little bit of guild reputation. I assume 99% of players just learn flying from the flight-trainer at Honour Hold in Hellfire.

This seems like a bizarre quest and really seems illogical.
Weird stuff like this in WOW always leaves you wondering what brain-damage led to the design of this kind of quest.

Obviously the overall WOW design strategy is to make it extremely difficult to travel back to older continents and what little they provide is grudgingly provided only because so many players complain. I guess the designers go home and kick their dogs every time they are forced to provide a portal back to a continent.

I had a character who hit the required level for this quest before the level squish that happened in Shadowlands pre-patch, had the quest but had tuned the quest in yet. Now she is sitting at level 28 after the squish, still has the quest in her log, and cannot turn it in because she does not meet the quest requirements. I'm not going to level her, reported it as a bug (they should either remove the quest from her log or let her finish it, this is ridiculous), just waiting to see how long it will take them to fix this.
