There are grappling hooks and ropes at 68.69, 69.77 or 69.04, 69.06. However, the 69, 69 hook does not count towards quest progression as of 6.0.3.

First bomb the catapults - you can't throw the smoke bombs at the catapults even though they say you can. You have to actually get close enough to click on the catapults before they will be hit by the artillery strike. Then you can run further up the path to meet miall and climb up around the shield wall by clicking on the pile of rope at her feet.

Alliance use the grappling hook rope to the left side of the shield; Horde go to the right. If you are Horde and use the left hand side grappling hook, it doesn't complete the objective -- no matter how many times you do it.

Enter your Wrynn Artillery Tower, and accept Going to the Gordunni from Miall, at coords 70.1, 20.2.

1. Going to the Gordunni - (Video) - Exit Fort Wrynn, through the western exit, and travel south to coords 60.0, 51.9 (see video if further questions).
• Follow the paved path to the south, and up the stairs at 62.7, 65.1, and continue southwest to coords 62.6, 67.8, where you will turn in the quest to Miall, accepting Dropping Bombs.

2. Dropping Bombs - (Video) - Travel up the dirt path and use your Smoke Grenade on the 3 catapults located approximately at coords:
• 63.6, 69.6
• 65.6, 68.9
• 66.8, 68.3

• Continue to follow the dirt path to the west to coords 69.0, 69.1 and click on the Grappling Hook and rope. This will bring you to the other side of the wall.
• Turn the quest in to Miall at coords 69.6, 69.8, accepting Supply Recovery, Prized Repossessions, and Punching Through.

Supply Recovery - Travel the path to the east, crossing a bridge, and continuing toward a set of stairs at 68.6, 79.0.
• Click on 6 Iron Horde Shipment (these appear as brown and grey boxes on the ground). Don't worry about getting all 6 prior to going up the stairs, as there will be many along this journey.

Prized Repossessions - Defeat Gordunni Ogres, in this area, and loot 6 Shattrath Guardian Mace from their corpses.

Punching Through - Travel up the stairs at coords 68.6, 79.0, and turn slightly left. Continue to a small building at 68.6, 82.5. Kill Vizier Vorgorsh inside.
• Leave the building and travel north to coords 67.1, 77.4 and defeat Vizier Zulmork, also located in a similar building.
• Exit the building and travel west to a small building at coords 66.2, 80.8 and defeat Vizier Cromaug inside.

NOTE: At this point, you must have completed Supply Recovery, Prized Repossessions, and Punching Through before you can proceed to the next step.

• Turn these quests in to Miall, who should be following you and accept The Lord of the Gordunni.

3. The Lord of the Gordunni - (Video) - Exit the building and travel up the sets of stairs located at coords 65.5, 80.1.
• Defeat Witch Lord Morkurk at the top, at coords 64.2, 81.8. If there is a barrier at the top of the stairs, signifying that he has already been engaged by another player, you can still attack him and be pulled inside (you don't need to "wait your turn").
• Use your Emergency Rocket Pack (in your inventory) when Witch Lord Morkurk begins to cast Astral Annihilation. This appears like blue and black smoke covering the entire platform.
• After he is defeated, turn in the quest to Miall (coords: 64.5, 81.8) and accept, The Only Way to Travel.

4. The Only Way to Travel - (Video) - You will be transported back to Fort Wrynn.
• Turn the quest in to Miall, in front of you, at coords 69.8, 20.8. This will also award you with the follower, Miall / Morketh Bladehowl.

I have no idea how to do the last step. Says us grappling hooks but I stand on the spot and use the item and nothing happens. The smoke bomb is still the item shown next to the tracked quest, maybe it isn't clicking over to the grappling hook after blowing up the three catapults.

I'm not sure what is going on. I clicked on the rope, got the mission completed but I can't get around the shield.

I can target *thru* the shield and blow ogres up but I can't get to where I can turn in the quest!

Help please?

The last part (the grappling hook) is a little pile of rope on the ground that you need to interact with. Don't use your quest item! Just click on the rope on the ground.

If you're having trouble finding it, it's a few yards away from the blue energy wall.

Dropping Bombs

Call artillery strikes on the Gordunni Boulderthrower encampments within Gordal Fortress.

Description

The Gordunni have only a single path to their fortress and it is well-defended from a large attack.

Thankfully they wont be expecting just the two of us to be attempting to break in.

This is a great opportunity to take out their defenses and get some target practice for our gunners back at the artillery tower.

Take these smoke grenades and use it to call in an artillery strike on their catapults as we head up.
