Here is my Macro for knowing whether or not you have received the Bronze, Silver ,Gold &/or Platinum rewards from doing a garrison invasion for the week.

This shows up:

Bronze: Looted (in red)

or

Platinum: Not Looted Yet (in green)

Fairly certain that you either need a botani daily apexis quest, or the mobs in the Everbloom Wilds aren't what trigger an invasion. I've been farming for a few days, probably 5-7 hours, and no dice.

You can trigger this by taking out a scouting missive for the everboom wilds location on the same day you get the apexis daily for that location, it WILL trigger when you hand them in. I have tested it 3 times now.

Oh and as a side note, I like to play this music for giggles each time they invade.

Well I took the advice of doing the scouting missive and turned it in.
No invasion occurred.

I also killed to get my full percentage, not picking up any seeds or birds. I am going to assume you will have to just kill and kill and kill and that there is no easy way to achieve an invasion.

From what I can gather, invasion quests can be triggered by two things:

There is a small chance when killing any enemy in a level 100 area in Draenor that a garrison invasion becomes available.
The more reliable way is to purchase the Scouting Missives from your general. Aside from the chance of triggering an invasion quest from each monster you can also trigger an invasion in the process of turning the quest in (confirmed) this chance seems to be quite high, though not guaranteed.
