Currently, the map highlights the top of the temple area itself, but you need to talk to Xuen on one of the hilltops near the bottom of the path up first.

On the map there are dots showing a path to a little pagoda south of the temple, Xuen is at the 4th dot from the bottom.

The next part of the quest is also wrong on the map, you just go up the hill to the next building and fight the giant there.

The step after that is also wrong on the map and also 1 building farther up the road.

While doing this quest, take the time to click on Chen and Li Li and hear all their poke dialogues.

If you have trouble finding Sigurd: He's in the arena at 69.3 52.5. Talk to Xuen to start the fight. Good luck!

There is a griffin on the Dalaran flight pad that will fly you directly to the Temple, if you aren't able to get there easily on your own.

1. The Voice of Thunder (Scenario)
• Accept the quest, The Voice of Thunder, from Rehgar Earthfury at coords 47.4, 82.4 (Guo-Lai Halls, in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms).
• Exit Guo-Lai Halls, and travel northeast to the Temple of the White Tiger, at coords 68.2, 56.9.

Stage 1 - Proving Your Worth
• Speak with Xuen when you are ready for the challenges.

Stage 2 - Defeat the Giantslayer
• Proceed north to 69.7, 52.9.
• Speak with Sigurd the Giantslayer or Xuen when you're ready to begin.
• Fight Sigurd the Giantslayer.
- - Don't stand in from of him when he is casting Goliath's Bane.
- - Run away from him when he begins channeling Giantbreaker Spear.
- - Use some of your defensive CDs when he buffs himself with Wrath of the Giantslayer.

Stage 3 - Heroes of the Storm
• Follow the group northwest to 67.0, 51.3.
• Speak with Xuen when you are ready for the next trial.
• Defeat Chen Stormstout and Li Li Stormstout in a fight.
- - Focus DPS on Li Li Stormstout first, as she is the healer.
- - Dodge Chen Stormstout as he rides around on a Wandering Keg.
- - After defeating Li Li Stormstout, burn down Chen Stormstout.

Stage 4 - Weapons of the Storm
• Follow the group north to the Temple at 68.6, 46.0.
• Go inside the Temple and pick up the Fist of Ra-den, to acquire your artifact weapon, the The Fist of Ra-den.

Stage 5 - Demonic Interruption (Final Stage)
• When Lord Kra'vos crashes the party, first kill his group of friends, the Low Inquisitor.
- - Avoid standing in the beams they drop on the ground.
- - When fighting Lord Kra'vos, stand either behind or outside of melee range to avoid damage from Dread Blades.
• Click the Astral Gate to the Maelstrom, to return to The Maelstrom.
• Turn in the quest to Rehgar Earthfury.

I completed this entire quest in restoration spec with my Restoration artifact weapon equipped. Even when I came the the third part of the trial and had to pick up the new "Elemental " artifact weapon, it went straight into my bags while I completed combat.. BTW all three combat trials were pretty simple while in healing spec. Follow the tips offered by Aurleis1 in this string and you'll be GTG,

Fly back to The Temple of White Tiger (kun-Lai summit) and find there the Tiger at 68.5 56.9 spot. There will start a scenario.

Speak with White Tiger and let them know you're ready.
You have to defeat Sigurd the Giantslayer, follow the Tiger to 69.4 52.9 spot and speak to start a trial.
Next stage is another fight. Defeat Chen, Li-Li and nameless Cloud Serpent to prove yourself. Hex Chen and defeat Li-Li or defeat Chen first, anyways.
Follow the Tiget to the Temple and take The Fist of Ra-den.
As always, there are bad demons come and try to slay you and your friends. Slay Inquisitors and Lord Kra'vos to finish the scenario. Use portal near Rehgar to return to Maelstorm.

For the fight against Lord Ka'vok, send your elemental in and then let Li-Li and Chen focus on him while you nuke down the adds, once they are gone the Lord is easy to kill.

The conversation in Stage two contains references and quotes from HotS:
Chen: We shall see who the real 'Hero of the Storm' is around here (both Reghar and Chen are playable characters in HotS). But first, I need a partner.
Li Li: Ready for adventure. (Her quote when you select her in HotS).
Chen: Oh no no, Li Li, I don't think--
Li Li: This is gonna be GREAT. (One of many quotes when you give her commands in HotS).

Currently the quest is bugged, if you fly directly from Sigurd to Chen and Lili and start the dialogue with Xuen, as soon as you defeat Lili, Chen will turn friendly and Xuen won't have the dialogue option anymore. Thats because Rehgar entrance wasn't triggered, make sure Rehgar is inside the temple with you or step back to trigger him because the quest cannot be abandoned.

As of 9.0, you can do this quest at a much earlier level. BEWARE. In Stage 3, LiLi Stormstout has a companion creature who has NOT BEEN PROPERLY LEVEL SCALED. You will be unable to damage it, and it will make mincemeat out of you.

This is bugged for me in patch 9.1. I died during the team fight, but when I attempted to fly back to my corpse, nothing was there. It said my corpse was at the graveyard, but when I tried to resurrect, hitting accept did nothing. When I clicked on the angel, the "resurrect now?" box disappeared entirely.

Quest Bug and temporary Solution

In 9.1 I attempted to do this quest on my Level 31 Shaman. Li Li's Serpent has a scaling issue that will lead to a quick death - at this level there is no hex or anything meaningful to counter this. When I spawned in the graveyard, the spirit healer vanished and no matter what I did (followed the steps from the Blizzard Support Article regarding issues reviving) it didn't work.

However, what did work was flying as a ghost to the Spirit Healer Spirit Healer and resurrect over there. I won't attempt this quest until a higher level again.

Edit: I returned at 41 (learned Hex at that level) to give it another go - the serpent still hurt, but I was able to heal against it and it vanished just in time for my mana to run out - so I was able to complete the quest.

Quest Bug and Tip:

Li Li's Cloud Serpent will still auto-kill you due to the lack of level scaling. However, if you go in there with reincarnation, wait for the serpent to fade and reincarnate. You'll be able to take her down then.

I ran this today on my 60 shaman as part of working towards the class mount. On the last stage, where you have to acquire the weapons, I received them and was able to equip them, but then nothing happened. The quest log still wanted me to equip them. I noticed in the full quest description that receiving the weapons was complete, so I returned to the class hall and was able to turn in the quest without having to do anything else.

This may have been because I did the entire quest up until then in enhancement spec. Just FYI.

I cannot advance passed stage 3, of the "Heroes of the Storm" scenario. I killed Chen before Lili and the other guy showed up and now there is nothing to do, to advance the quest. I see that others have had this issue, but even returning to Dalaran and returning to the quest area does not do anything.

For anyone struggling to do this quest after 10.1.5 (that's when I did it) here is the way I managed to do it without bugging it.

At first I used a flying mount to go from point A to point B during the scenario which made it bug amongst the multiple interactions you need to do with Xuen (mainly) and with Chen and Li Li. Either Xuen would have a gossip option before Chen arrived or before Li Li was in position to be in combat, etc. Just use ghost wolf or a ground mount, start walking before reaching Xuen the first time (some npcs will cheer for you). That way Rehgar, Chen and Li Li will spawn along before you do the first gossip with him (the way they are meant to, but for some reason they bug when you are flying around). Here is how I did it:

1) DO NOT FLY
2) While having ghost wolf or ground mount go to Xuen to click the first gossip option available in the scenario, after all the RP has concluded
3) Defeat the Vrykul
4) While having ghost wolf or ground mount go to Xuen in the next platform (final one) along with the rest of the npcs and wait for the RP to finish, Chen will speak, Li Li will speak and take place
5) After the RP, THEN click Xuen's gossip to engage Chen and Li Li, defeat them and then while in ghost wolf or ground mount proceed to the final step of the scenario to get your weapon

If any of the above bugs, you can leave the scenario area and logout for 4-5 minutes. Once you are back in and go into the scenario area it should have reset.
