When you talk to Evelle and accept the quest you then have to open the cage. Pretty obvious, but if you miss it there will be no highlight on the map to show you where to go. Probably something that needs fixing.

EVELLE RELEASED: The marker for the first phase of this quest puts you on a pathway near a fork north of the Moonclaw Vale. I'm in beta so can't give coords, but it's pretty close to the bridge that is the western entrance to Suramar. It's misleading. You need to go down into the Moonclaw Vale to the southwest. At the northeastern corner of the vale is a pathway up and behind the cottages with all the Satyr. It will lead you to the Moonclaw Cavern. You kill the big Satyr and Evelle is in a cage right behind him. Be sure to release her by opening the cage.

ENTER THE ARCHDRUIDS DEN: The Den of Claws (where you will find Thaon Moonclaw) is at the opposite end of the Vale in a Den hidden under large tree roots. Enter the den and down the path and into the den you'll find an image of the Nightmare Lord - you'll pass him and head deeper into the den to find Thaon Moonclaw, who you will now have to kill. When complete, Evelle will meet you at the den entrance to turn in the quest.

If you forget the cage, (or like me, someone opened it just before you) then the entrance to the area is above the "M" in Moonclaw on the map.

At the bottom of the path, take the right side path, (Nightmare totem on your right). Follow it round to 63.53, 71.04 (roof of building on left) and up the slope. The entrance to the Moonclaw Cavern is at 62.73, 68.34 (above the waterfall).

Once released, the quest text should change from "Evelle Released" to "Enter the Archdruid's Den".

For the next part, on exiting the cave, follow the path back East and take the right hand path to 62.5, 76.6 The Den of Claws. Entering the Barrow. you should see the Image of Xavius, and further down, Thaon Moonclaw.

Don't forget to open the cage for after talking to Evelle. The Entrance to the Den of Claws is at 62.26, 76.23.
There is also a treasure in the moonwell on the first level down.

Found the fight to be quite hard. I dont know why never had problems till now. I am a level 107 (749) frost mage.

To complete the last part of the quest, where you have to slay Thaon Moonclaw, you need to find a cave in Lostflight Grotto. It is down among large tree roots. For those with coordinates, go to (59.2, 80.6). You will see a bunch of owlbeasts and slimes in the clearing in front of the cave entrance.

As you run out of cave, travel to 62.2 76.0 spot, there you'll see the entrance to the Den of Claws. Get in and follow the path down. There you'll meet Image of Xavius, who tells you are late. Unfortunally, Thaon Moonclaw is your ally no more and you have to slay it.

Make sure you get credit for finding Thaon before killing him! I pulled him from max range in the hallway and had to wait for respawn.

When you start the quest you need to open the cage. If you are like me and forget you need to go back into the cave and open it. The entrance to the cave is at 62,69. You will see two buildings with a waterfall on the left of them. Go to the right of the buildings and there's a ramp that goes up to the entrance. What also helped me was to abandon the quest so a ! showed up on my map. I just spent almost an hour looking for this damn cave lol.

Description

You arrived just in time, friend.

Kagraxxis was moments away from sacrificing me to his master... I was certain I would perish.

I am grateful, but we are not out of danger yet... Xavius has returned.

The Nightmare Lord is here in Val'sharah, personally orchestrating the corruption of this land. My captor revealed as much to me before I was to be sacrificed.

We must find Thaon Moonclaw and inform him before it is too late!
