Anyone got ídeas of where you get those recipe list ? Can't seem to hand in the reagents I already have.

Here is a list of 6 recipes I have found so far and their locations. I will be updating this post as I progress through the Beta. I don't have an add-on for coordinates yet.

Recipe: Salt and Pepper Shank I'm Not Lion! Directly Northwest of Thunder Totem across the river in Highmountain.
Recipe: Dried Mackerel Strips Spicing Things Up or Too Many Cooks Nomi can originally found in the Crumbled Palace directly Northeast of Illidari Stand.
Recipe: Fighter Chow Morale Booster Earned from the Giant Pokemon battling event in Azsuna. Start of the chain begins with Let Sleeping Giants Lie;s
Recipe: Deep-Fried Mossgill Shriek No More Found in a small cliff side town on the west coast of Val'sharah
Recipe: Faronaar Fizz The Magister of MixologyLocated at the Crumbled Palace directly Northeast of Illidari Stand.
Recipe: Pickled Stormray A Heavy BurdenThis quest happens directly after the long chain A Trial of Will and after you complete the quests in Helheim. Starting with An Unworthy Task and ending at Paid in Lifeblood

Recipe: Barracuda Mrglgagh Murlocs: The Next Generation You can reach this area by completing Hemet Nesingwarys quests (See Salt and Pepper Shank quest location for Hemet area) and competing That Guy in the Costume

Shouldn't this be retroactive? I alrdy had a few before I started this and now it's going to be much harder to complete it seems.

Legion cooking has 3 main Nomi's Test Kitchen quests, several fast recipes questchains in the world and lots of similar world quests

You have to find a cooking recipe in the world and Nomi will spawn near you.
Can be any recipe : quest reward/world drop/from some rare
Nomi will offer you this quest to find him in Dalaran.
He is near the cooking trainer

Horde 63.3, 32.98, Entrance to the building is at 62.9, 33.0, 1-st floor, small room to the right
Alliance 40.8, 65.2
Recipe: Leybeque Ribs from Myonix rare
Recipe: Bear Tartare from Mordvigbjorn rare

If you already learned all the quest recipes you don't need 6 new.
Quest can bug and you can:

Relog
Abandon the quest and take it 1 more time
Opening the Test Kitchen

Take the barrel behind Nomi and speak with him. He will offer you a work order
Select the work order dialog option and give him your first work order.

Additional info:

So you got the access to the Nomi's Test Kitchen and it is the main way to discover most of the recipes and ranks

Nomi's Test Kitchen is a "work-order style" discovery.
You give Nomi some raw food, come back after 3h and he gives you some recipe or just burned gray item
Can give him up to 3 days of food work orders upfront.
Hints: don't give him to much of the same food.

I got most of my recipes with diversified work orders.
And i think there is a connection: you get the recipe of the food you give him.
So if you need feast, try to give him as many related ingredients as possible.
I gave him everything except Slice of Bacon
Lean Shank & Mossgill Perch & Stormray & Wildfowl Egg & Spiced Rib Roast repeated 4 times and got 3 Hearty Feast recipes.
Maybe i was just lucky. I'm not sure 100% that it works this way.

Cooking World Quests

There are lots of similar Slab of Bacon quests
From my experience you need to have ~75 cooking to be able to get them

All of them are just "kill rare" take the reward.
The reward is 5 or 10 or 15 Slice of Bacon

Most of them are easy. 1 in Suramar was kinda hard to find.

For those who are completionists (and for those who didn't have the Cooking skill trained when questing through zones) there are a few recipes which are drops.

Below is a list:

Recipe: Bear Tartare - Mordvigbjorn (Rare in Stormheim at )
Recipe: Leybeque Ribs - Myonix (Rare in Suramar at )
Recipe: Drogbar-Style Salmon - Rare drop from any Drogbar (Mostly Highmountain)
Recipe: Suramar Surf and Turf - created by combining 2 drops:

Recipe: Turf - drops from Heartwood Stag and Heartwood Doe in Suramar
Recipe: Surf - drops from crab mobs: Deepwater Spikeback and Pinchshank in Suramar

For those seeking retroactive credit, relogging will cause the quest to update. However you may not be able to turn it in, seeing a gray question mark over the quest givers head. If this happens, abandon and pick the quest back up.Fixed it for me instantly. Good luck!

Recipe: Spiced Falcosaur Omelet, sold by the Wardens quartermaster, was added in 7.1, and doesn't appear to give credit toward this quest.

The 6 easiest recipes you can get to quickly complete this quest are:

Recipe: Leybeque Ribs which drops from Myonix
Recipe: Drogbar-Style Salmon which drops from any Drogbar in the broken isles
Recipe: Bear Tartare which drops from Mordvigbjorn
Recipe: Deep-Fried Mossgill which is a quest reward from Shriek No More, you only need to complete A Village in Peril before it which is extremely quick and easy
Recipe: Suramar Surf and Turf which requires you gather a Recipe: Surf from Coastal Spikeback (or other crabs in Suramar) & Recipe: Turf from Heartwood Doe in Suramar (again, any Suramar stag or doe can drop it)
Recipe: Dried Mackerel Strips is the final recipe which you obtain from meeting Nomi

Using these 6 recipes you can quickly unlock food researching with as little time and effort as possible (though Surf & Turf could take a few minutes depending on your luck).

Very short quest chain for a recipe- works well. If you are moderately geared you can solo "I'm not Lion".

i would like to add Myonix kill to get one recipe in Suramar, and the bear in Stormheim near Valdishall to get Bear Tartare

I'm on ALT number 10 atm, so let me share my insight into what for me has become the most time/effort efficient route to get the 6 recipes knocked out.

So as not to detract from the good work others have done below I will just mention the recipe and its pro's, please look further down to the original posters for the details.

I belive the first recipe you get in game invokes Nomi to appear and offer you the quest, for me I always start in Azsuna, its flat(ish) easy to navigate and so fairly fast if your still on a ground mount.

This means you will quickly get:

1, Recipe: Faronaar Fizz - from The Magister of Mixology

Nomi Pops and offers you - Too many Cooks - you will have to go back to Dalaran to turn it in but this rewards:

2, Recipe Dried Mackerel Strips

And the quest - A Good Recipe List - which is why we are here, at this stage the two previous recipes and any of those listed here you already have have will count to the total, so lets say we now have 2 of the required 6.

My picks based on trying all those suggested here are;

3, Recipe: Fighter Chow - from the quest Morale Booster in Azsuna, its only several quests after The Magister of Mixology so you may as well keep going.

4, Recipe: Deep Fried Mossgill - a quest reward from Shriek No More, pick up A Village in Peril which is just a turn in and then you can pick up Shriek No More.

5, Recipe: Leybeque Ribs - Drops from Myonix

6, Recipe: Bear Tartare - Drops from Mordvigbjorn

And your done

Honorable mentions are:

Recipe: Salt and Pepper Shank - from I'm Not Lion! it has a couple of pre quest but its all in the Hemet Nesingwary camp in High Mountain and is great if your a skinner.

Recipe: Surf and Turf - Surf from Coastal Spikeback (or other crabs in Suramar) & Recipe: Turf from Heartwood Doe in Suramar, I've done this at 103 on a Priest and had no hit issues with the mobs at 110.

Avoid:

Recipe: Drogbar-Style Salmon - Drops from any Drogbar in the broken isles, so far i have only got it on one charator as an RNG drop, for the completionists yes, but not for speed.

Recipe: Pickled Stormray - from A Heavy Burden, you get this after a long quest chain in Helheim. Again not worth it unless you have done the quests or are a completionist.

Just picked up Recipe: Leybeque Ribs from Myonix, and it has a level 45 requirement to learn (only just turned 43 :-p)

I really hope the WoW community takes the infuriating, obnoxious quest log limit problem more seriously and applies more pressure on Blizzard to change it. And while Blizzard doesn't make "blue" daily quests count toward this limit, this is among many of the quests that should never have been part of this quest log limit. I do not understand what kind of benefit does this add to Blizzard or to its player base. Posting this just before patch 9.2.5, after returning to several alts that I had abandoned back in Legion, I am forced to go back to the Broken Isles just to get the 3 remaining recipes by doing quest chains all over the continent on all these alts, and it is getting extremely boring and repetitive. And I sure as hell am not reading any quest details or enjoying the 3rd time I'm doing the same round within a narrow timeframe.

Why can't Blizzard understand that this sort of practice breeds negative emotions in many players? Negative emotions like despising questing altogether! Blizzard is turning questing into an "urgent chore" instead of an enjoyable journey that one can choose to take whenever they want. I have to empty as many of these quests in my log as quickly as possible so I can pick up quests that are more relevant to my level and gearing goals for these alts. And if anyone asks, Why not just abandon the quest? Why should I abandon a half-completed quest and risk having to redo progress that I've already done at a later time when I am in the mood to quest? And if someone says that we won't have to redo the progress related to this specific quest, my problem isn't only with this quest; it's the principle and the risk of having to repeat progress exists for plenty of other quests if you abandon them. This quest is just a good example of quests that should never have counted toward the quest log limit. Any quest that requires you to travel all over the world and do several chains for them should never be part of the quest log limit.
