The quest starts with a dropped Lost Mail on the ground by a mailbox in Dalaran. Respawns approx every 2 hours.
This Lost Mail is also BoE and a copy is mailed to you upon completion of the quest, so you can give it to a friend.

- First you'll deliver it to Madam Goya in the Underbelly Lost Mail.
- From there you'll receive a mail from the Postmaster summoning you to the Dalaran Mailroom.
This room, accessible by the pet cemetery, is crammed with elementals, junk mail, even a Pepe overseer!

- You'll then sort 9 pieces of flying mail.
- That turns into A Huge Package: you will deliver 1362 Solid Stone.
(this is a throwback to The Bank of Vernal in Utah, USA)
- In Priority Delivery, someone has forgotten to loot Invincible's Reins and you must return it to them.
You will have to fight with ethereals trying to ninja-loot it.
- You'll then head to the Steam Pools in Feralas and find Johnny Awesome.
- He already has Invincible and demands you sell the duplicate to Gott Weedlespan in Service with a Smile.
- After returning, he then asks you to visit his SparklePony's grave in Due Reward.
- When you reach the grave, you learn that Twinkles' favorite toy was Mimiron's Head.
- Yay for the minigame part of the questline: The Mail Must Flow:
You are asked to sort 15 letters correctly in a minute.
City and zone names will flash on the screen, and you must click on the proper mailbox for each continent.
Completing this finishes the main Postmaster questline and awards The Total Package achievement!

- You now have access to the advanced minigame, where you must sort 30 incomplete letters in a minute.
Completing this rewards the Priority Mail achievement, the title, and Mailemental battle pet.
Katy's Stampwhistle toy is also now in your mailbox as well!

Mailemental teaches the Mailemental Battle Pet.

The entrance to the mail room is the "Mail Tube" located in new Dalaran 33.43 31.63.

You need to click the Mail Tube to get into the mail room called The Postmaster's Office.

Tips:

If you loot Lost Mail ~~from near the mailbox by the Violet Citadel~~ now patched to be from "a random location near one of several Dalaran mailboxes", it is BOP. But at the end of the quest line, you get the Lost Mail item again as a BOE! This means that:

• As of 21 January 2018, the title is NOT account-wide. So first complete the quest chain on whatever character you looted it with. Then mail the BOE Lost Mail to the character you want on, and complete it, mail it, etc. until you're done with all characters. Title now patched to be account-wide!
• Easier than camping a mailbox 24/7 is: you can just start the quest by "renting" Lost Mail from the AH--buy it, quest through it, then sell the item again when you get it back.
There is no direct follow up quest from Madam Goya (or anyone beside her) after you turn in the Lost Mail. The next step is receiving mail from the Postmaster inviting you to help him out. Check your mail to read it, then fly behind the Magus Commerce Exchange (/way 32.8, 32.1 in Dalaran). There is a Mail Tube that looks like a brown pot within a neat triangle-shaped wall that you click to visit the Postmaster, sort of like Mario going down a pipe. Doing the questline gives you the Katy's Stampwhistle toy. Doing it also unlocks a mini-game wherein you can then work on completing 2 achievements: Priority Mail and Post Haste. Doing these will get you the Mailemental pet and the title.
Doing the Priority Mail achievement will also complete Post Haste. So just go straight to sorting 30 incomplete addresses when the time comes; no need to work on sorting 30 complete addresses separately.

so i got the lost mail and i turned it into the lady in the underbelly and i went to my mailbox and got the Letter and put it into my bags, where it still is. i went behind the magus chamber and i still do not see the "mail tube" to go into to meet the postmaster in their "office". any help ?

I just had a weird experience with this quest.
After handing in the Lost Mail, and checking my mailbox for the reply by the postmaster, I seemed to zone out somehow.
All the other players, npc's and portals in all of Dalaran disappeared, and I could still mount, but not fly anymore in the city. Went to check for the Mail Tube, but it was not there.
I was a bit creeped out, almost like waiting for the Langoliers to come, if anybody here is old enough the remember that reference xD.
Reload didn't work. I used my Dalaran Hearthstone, and that seemed to reset the city for me.
Went back to the same location, and the Mail Tube was right there as mentioned by the others.
Sharing this in the hope that others with this issue will find it helpful :)

Coordinates for "Pet Cemetary" is in Dalaran

/way 33.23, 33.81

You should see a pipe sticking out of the ground Mail Tube which you can interact with. Clicking the pipe will bring you to the Mail Room.

Not sure if you have completed this quest on a certain character? This script will give you that answer!

If it is of any use, thought that I would point out that you do not have to finish the entire quest chain to get the Timeworn Heirloom Armor Casing. I happened to need to pause during this quest chain adventure after the Service with a Smile quest (where you bring back the proceeds for selling Invincible's Reins to Johnny), and still received this item in the mail the next day, while still having Due Reward in my quest log.

If your having trouble doing the last 30 in 60 seconds challenge there is a way which can help you.
Its not legit and your client may crash out if you click around while frozen but it can work.

1. Create a macro with the following code /run local t = time() + 10 while time() < t do end
2. Assign the macro to any action bar key
3. Talk to the postmaster and start the challenge
4. Press the macro the second the 1st location appears. This will freeze the entire game for 10 seconds. Do not click anything while the screen is frozen or you may force a crash or double click a location causing a wrong location and incur a time penalty. You can re-position the mouse while frozen so just hover over the correct location while you wait for the 10 seconds to be up.
5. When the game unfreezes and the little portals start to swirl again click the continent the post relates to as quickly as you can.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 as the locations appear until you have your 30, by this point if you have been efficient you should probably only have like 3-4 seconds to spare.

So if your really stuck, been banging your head for hours and cant get the clicks in time doing the challenge the normal way this may be a last ditched method of obtaining the title and pet.

I completed the Lost Mail but must have forgotten about this questline and tried to redo it. The Postmaster did not have any follow up quests and I couldn't figure out how to continue. Couldn't even pick up a new piece of "lost mail" near a mailbox because that part had already been completed. Now I'm stuck. Any advice on how to proceed to the next quest? :( Guess it's time to start over with an alt.

As of 9.0.1 if you want to check if you have already completed this quest type:

/script print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(41368))

If the printout reads "true", you have completed the quest. If it returns as "false", you have not.

With this you can check the status of completion for every quest. Just change the number. Quest numbers can be found in the wowhead url for the desired quest. Hope this helps.

Level 43 rogue found the letter, I see the quest marker on Madam Goya from outside the room. I get the dialogue between her and the dwarf. But when I enter the room with her, she doesn't have a quest marker and has no options to take the letter. I am guessing that I need to be max-level in order to progress this quest. I'll check back when I hit 50.

I had a lot of trouble figuring out where to turn in the Lost Letter. You'll want to give it to Madam Goya, the Black Market Vendor. You will find her in The Underbelly, in the hexagonal room to the northeast of the map. Be careful, it's a PvP zone down there.

After you give her the letter, head back up to the surface. The mail pipe at 34, 31 should now be clickable, and you can continue the quest series. Good luck!

Worth noting that, now in prepatch, while this quest requires level 10 to *start*, it requires level 50 to *complete*.

Madam Goya will be entirely uninteractable until you reach level 50, likely as a result of the new level cap requirement to use the BMAH.

Avast! You will get stuck in the middle of the quest chain, unable to continue, if you are Hated by Gadgetzan.

If Horde, starting in Orgrimmar, go to the portal room: /way 58.8 89.6 portal

If Alliance, starting in Stormwind, go to the mage tower.

Take the portal to Azsuna (not "Dalaran, Crystalsong Forest" -- that's old Dalaran) and fly east to Dalaran city. To get into the Dalaran Underbelly, drop down the well in Dalaran at

/way 47.6 33.0 well

and then follow the map to Madam Goya to turn in the quest.

To continue the quest chain, you'll need to pick up mail from a mailbox. First, to get out of the Underbelly afterwards, head up the stairs at

/way 71.8 63.6 stairs

Once you're up the stairs there's a mailbox at

/way 59.0 48.7 mailbox

Pick up the letter from the Postmaster and go to the Mail Tube outside the Magus Commerce Exchange

/way 32.8, 32.1 Mail Tube

Interact with the Mail Tube and inside the mailroom, pick up the next quest, Return to Sender.

If you are a new Warlock like me, and can't seem to find Madam Goya, try to complete your class hall intro until you need to select a "zone" to go to. After that NPC's spawn as normally and you can find her and complete your quest.

Please upvote this to the top as it's info people really need.

After returning the lost mail to Madam Goya to start this chain, you might not get the letter from the Postmaster requesting your presence. Just go straight to the pet cemetery and click on the tube sticking out of the ground at 33, 31. That will take you to the post office where you can continue the quest chain.
