To get to this place start at Starsong Refuge's flightpath, go north and take the first right up the hill. The uphill path starts at (68,48). Follow the path until you find the left turn at (70,33)

If anyone is wondering how to actually DO the quest, you just have to get close enough to the sprites riding the bears and slap them off by right-clicking. I had a lot of trouble seeing the hand cursor because they were moving around so much and it took a few minutes to figure out.

They can still be a bit hard to catch so I ended up making a target macro (/tar bloodspike), then spammed the interact hot key (usually backtick `).

Has anyone paid close attention to the Needlers as they sneak up on unsuspecting sleeping bears. It's funny as heck.

If you can GLIDE, here is an alternative way to get there:

Fly to the Sylvan Vale Flight Point in Highmountain
Go WNW (?... I need to recheck the direction) to the structure where Aviana gives you the quest to get Emerald Winds
Walk to the edge and from there use a GLIDER to fly to

/way Val'sharah 66.6, 31.2 Purple ROOF

You will NOT be able to actually SEE the roof until you get part way down through the tree canopy, but it is there! Get over the roof location and make tight circles down.

Land ON the roof, and then you can decide where to jump down (I used a Water Strider Mount to avoid fall damage) to complete the World Quest.

And, yes, I had no idea the roof/building was there until I was circling down to land, so you actually have an edge!

Do not attack the bears! You are given a "Slap" which is your right mouse button. Slap the imps off the bears. Once in a while you will have to fight an imp, but mostly the bears take of that.

From Starsong Refuge, do not go through any gate; a gate is two tall posts with a heavy wooden bar across their tops. Put your back to the flight master, go right to the first gate, but turn right just before it. Turn left just before the second gate. After you pass the second bridge after the second gate, look for a path to the left.

just to add to this world quest, if you have lagged out and when I got to the area the world quest popped up but nothing was there so if there is nothing where the quest marker on the map says you will need to log out then back in.

To easily target the ones on the back of the bears make this macro and slot it into you action bar:

/cleartarget
/target Bloodspike Needler
/cleartarget
/stopmacro
/run if not GetRaidTargetIndex("target")then SetRaidTarget("target",8)end

Then use the Target key (default F) to auto interact.

This macro is handy for all sorts of mobs like this, just replace the "Bloodspike Needler" part with the mob you wish to target.
