If you haven't done the main Val'sharah questline when reaching level 110, you will get Goddess Watch Over You instead.

I wonder how the events of the ordering of Light and Shadow may have ever been recorded, not mentioning that an "ancient" cosmology tome cannot possibly contain information about both the naaru and Elune, as the former were known only to the draenei and Outland, and the latter only to the elves and Azeroth.

As a note - you get this in your Class Hall - not in Dalaran. So if you are 110 and in Dalaran and not getting it, pop back to your class hall, and run into the room where the Light's Heart is.

If you can’t complete this quests, wait until you finish other quests in Val’sharah. After completing the quest The Tears of Elune, this quest will be completed and can be turned in Dalaran.

To complete this quest after you complete the quest “The Tears of Elune” just pick up the Tear in front of the Temple of Elune in Val’sharah, right over a grass patch in the shape of a dragon ;)

I have a problem. i have the tears of elune quest (goddess watch over me and its marked on my map, but tyrande doesnt lead me into the town and malfurian is no where to be found. any advice would help thank you

Just complet the story line at the temple of elune when you help malfurion with a dragon. Easy as that

If you complete all of these quests and you still can't turn this quest in, go to the flight deck in Dalaran and talk to Archmage Khadgar. Complete the quest to unlock Broken Isles. After the scenario is over, he will return to Violet Citadel, and you should be able to turn it in, then. Not even the GM told me this, so, here world.

ok i cant fgiure this #$%^ out i have the stupid quest but cant complete cuz blizzard sux at quests. someone help plz i dont know what to do after i have the stupid quest. and noone on here commenting is making any sense.

Go to the Temple of Elune in Val'sharah. Look South on your map you should see a quest from Ysera.
Follow that entire quest line and you will fight Ysera at the Temple of Elune. Now look and new quest have spawned,
grab the one that says Tears of Elune. Go to Dalaran and complete.

Head to Lorathil in Val'sharah - look for quests take them all and do them - if nothing there head to Grove of Cenarius and check there for quests. Basically you cant do this quest until most of the val'sharah quest line is done.

Hey Khadgar. I was literally standing in my order hall when your floating head popped up. Was it really necessary to tell me to go to Dalaran just to go back to my class hall? Gosh!

Ok, so I land in Light's Hope Chapel and guess who's head in a crystal ball comes floating up to me... A bug? The fact that LHC is a sanctuary triggered it?
Edit: So I flew off to Strat on a flying mount and he followed! Was gone when I came back out so flew back to LHC and he showed up again.

To most people that didn't do much in Legion, or didn't play Legion at all, this must be a Class Hall quest, the item you get from the final main chain quests from Val'Sharah. If you open the map from the zone, and see the 'story' list beside, its all the first 5 stories, out of 7 total. The last 2 are optional stories, not very important to get the Tears, or get the final DG quest, that gives a bunch of XP, and finalizes the zone main story.

To complete The Order hall quest you MUST do the entire story line INTO THE NIGHTMARE in Val'shara! if you have the quest in your log then you have to go back to the dudes wife by the bridge and finish ALL low level quests you can find. It will end with you killing the now EVIL dragon at the temple which will result in the tears being able to pick up. I had not completed the entire story line so i was stuck with this quest for some time.

So you're on a fresh new char, never done Legion before. Doing your order hall, looking to unlock a weapon color by recovering a Pillar of Creation. Got this quest by auto-accept and came here looking for information.

Here's what you do:

1. Go to Grove of Cenarius in Val'sharah, in the middle of the map, and talk with Malfurion.
2. Do the 3 "Druid of" questlines. Remember Littlefur!
3. Go back to Malfurion, do the quests, talk with Ysera, fly to Temple of Elune.
4. Speak to night elf and from here, do every quest that spawns in front of you.

This will lead you to recover the Tear of Elune. Now go place it in the middle of Dalaran to get the achievement.

To start this quest if you haven't done any of the storyline of Val'Sharah, find the quest Dishonored from Thaon Moonclaw and then you can complete the storyline Into the Nightmare. Then go and accept the quest Little fur from Elder Sookah to begin the questline Awakening the Archdruid. Next accept the 2 quests from Elothir to begin the questline Return to the Grove. Then accept the quest The Emerald Queen from Malfurion. Accept the quest The Temple of Elune from Ysera. This will open up the quest to get the Tyrande Whisperwind quests which will finish in the Fate of Val'sharah quest, opening up the Tear of Elune.

if you got the “Goddess Watch Over You” quest after you already completed the “Val’sharah questline”, just go to the location “Garden of the Moon”, the Tears of Elune is there. Click on it and there’s a quest for you to take it.

Meet Archmage Khadgar in Dalaran.

Description

I may have found a "key" to unlock Light's Heart, <name>.

I was going through some ancient cosmology tomes when I stumbled upon a passage indicating that the prime naaru may have been created by Elune during the great ordering of Light and Shadow.

If Elune did create Xe'ra, then it stands to reason that we could use the Tears of Elune to unlock the secrets of Light's Heart.

It's a long shot, but we've got nothing left to lose.

Meet me in Dalaran. I will ready the Tears of Elune for you.
