Will this quest be available when antorus come out?

Also, will we be able to complete this on normal difficulty or will it have a heroic and mythic lock. I am assuming any mode will do, looks like something everyone will get.

Its a awesome stat ring and I am assuming the ability will be pretty helpful in antorus. Hopefully it doesnt take to long to get.

Insignia of the Grand Army is a new legendary added in Patch 7.3.2. Below is a comprehensive summary of how this ring works.

DISCLAIMER: This information is from the PTR, and some of it may be subject to change on Live servers.

Insignia of the Grand Army is the only legendary available as a quest reward. It is granted on completion of the quest Antorus, the Burning Throne: The Death of a Titan, which requires that you kill Argus the Unmaker, the final boss of the Antorus, the Burning Throne raid. As such, it won't be available until the raid opens.

It's effect is to increase the effect of Light and Shadow powers granted by the Netherlight Crucible by 50%. These are tier 2 powers associated with the 3 socketed relics in your Artifact Weapon. See the Netherlight Crucible section of the Legion Artifact Weapon guide for more details on the crucible.

A few further details on the ring:

This legendary is Unique-Equipped: Legion Legendary (2); as such, it respects the 2 legendary limit and cannot be equipped if you have two other legendaries equipped.

In contrast, the other legendary added in 7.3.2, Aman'Thul's Vision, DOES NOT share an equip limit with other legendaries - it can be equipped in addition to 2 other legendaries.

As this legendary is available after the release of Antorus, the Burning Throne, it will be item level 1000.

Your spells and abilities have a chance to deal 200,000 Shadow damage and heal you for the same amount.

Your spells and abilities have a chance to deal 300,000 Shadow damage and heal you for the same amount.

Chaotic Darkness

Your spells and abilities have a chance to deal 60,000 to 300,000 Shadow damage and heal you for 60,000 to 300,000.

Your spells and abilities have a chance to deal 90,000 to 450,000 Shadow damage and heal you for 90,000 to 450,000.

Torment the Weak

Your spells and abilities have a chance to cause Torment, dealing 80,000 Shadow damage over 15 sec. This effect stacks up to 3 times.

Your spells and abilities have a chance to cause Torment, dealing 120,000 Shadow damage over 15 sec. This effect stacks up to 3 times.

Dark Sorrows

Your spells and abilities have a chance to afflict the target with Sorrow, causing it to burst after 8 sec, dealing 186,350 Shadow damage.

Your spells and abilities have a chance to afflict the target with Sorrow, causing it to burst after 8 sec, dealing 279,525 Shadow damage.

Shocklight

While Concordance of the Legionfall is active, your critical strike is increased by 1500.

While Concordance of the Legionfall is active, your critical strike is increased by 2250.

Secure in the Light

Your harmful spells and abilities have the chance to deal 135,000 additional damage and grant you Holy Bulwark, absorbing up to 135,000 damage over 8 sec.

Your harmful spells and abilities have the chance to deal 202,500 additional damage and grant you Holy Bulwark, absorbing up to 202,500 damage over 8 sec.

Infusion of Light

Your harmful spells and abilities have the chance to deal 101,000 additional Holy damage. Your helpful spells and abilities have a chance to heal for 101,000.

Your harmful spells and abilities have the chance to deal 151,500 additional Holy damage. Your helpful spells and abilities have a chance to heal for 151,500.

Light's Embrace

Taking damage has a chance to grant you Light's Embrace, restoring 45,500 health over 6 sec. Light's Embrace may stack up to 5 times.

Taking damage has a chance to grant you Light's Embrace, restoring 68,250 health over 6 sec. Light's Embrace may stack up to 5 times.

You need to do the breadcrumb on the VIndicaar first to be able to obtain this quest - The Burning Throne.

I'm unable to pick this quest up, Velen isn't on the Vindicaar.

EDIT: For anyone who has completed the questline on main but cant get quest on alt:
Go and complete the quest non-prophet organisation in north east macaree, then this quest will be available.

I got the quest The Death of a Titan , but i am not able to do it, since the raid finder says those dungeons are not available at this time.? does anyone know why please

For anyone confused and trying to get their Violet Spellwing, just know that the quest !The Blood of a Titan is actually started from a looted item off the boss. This is not the quest for the mount, the mount quest item is personal loot once the boss is killed.

If you forget to grab the quest before killing Argus for the week. You can simply kill him a second time during the same lockout and get completion for the quest.

Couldn't find him. Showed profit on ground in first zone. .... had to head up north to turn in, as I was in the middle of quest line. gl!

not sure how relevant this is anymore but this is how i got this quest on my alt.

first of do the normal questline until you get the quest Eredath, Jewel of Argus. this quest will pop up for you from Velen in the vindicaar about 40% completion of krokuun and antoran wastes. if i remember correctly it wasn't far from the quest where you need to do certain quests in Petrified Forest (70,70 in krokuun).

after you get the quest to go to Mac'Aree early there should also be a quest in the vindicaar named The Burning Throne. after you complete this very short quest either Velen right beside will have this quest for you, or you need to do some quests in Mac'Aree as some others have said.

i did Mac'Aree until the Talgath fight, ran back to vindicaar but Velen had no quest for me. i then did The Burning Throne and it popped up immediately.

If you want Insignia of the Grand Army, you need to complete Antorus, the Burning Throne: The Death of a Titan. This can be done in LFR.
Requirement for this quest is An Offering of Light. Follow the quest line on Krokuun until you filled Xe'ra into the netherlight crucible.
Assuming that you have done the little story in Exodar (The Hand of Fate > Two If By Sea > Light's Exodus > The Vindicaar > Into the Night - might take around 10 min) and have reached Kokuun.

Righteous Fury - destroy 3x 3 crystals
Overwhelming Power - kill 12 demons
A Stranger's Plea - click/heal 8 drudges
Vengeance - kill demon
Signs of Resistance - follow Velen
The Prophet's Gambit - follow Velen again
Rendezvous - call teleporter
From Darkness - speak to Turalyon and follow him
Prisoners No More - click 10 slaves
Threat Reduction - kill 3 elites
A Strike at the Heart - speak to Turalyon and kill Aggonar
Return to the Vindicaar - use teleporter
A Moment of Respite - speak to 3 Npc within the Vindikaar
Gathering Light - teleport to Krokul, speak to Turalyon and follow the way
A Grim Equation - destroy 3 soul coffers
Crystals Not Included - collect 10 crystals
The Best Prevention - kill 20 demons
Fire At Will - kill 30 bats
Locating the Longshot - find Baraat
Bringing the Big Guns - attacking enemies, secure Light's Judgment
Lightly Roasted - use Extrabutton at the rubble
The Light Mother - enter the ship, click 3 crystals und then Xe'ra

After turning in An Offering of Light, High Exarch Turalyon offers the quest The Burning Throne.

You have to fly to Antoran Wastes, talk to Turalyon to shoot Antorus, hand the quest back in. Velen will now give you the quest.

I abandoned this quest by accident and now can't find it anywhere to pick it up again? Have tried Triumvirate's End and Antoran Wastes but Velen never has a quest available.

I dont understand why they put in the LFR NPC so you can solo this if it's not soloable unless you're a specific class(which is unfair imo). I just wanted the achievement and rep from the raid quest so i can inch myself closer to exalted so i can unlock allied characters.. I don't need the rep on my hunter. All my friends stopped playing and my 900 member guild is dead. I'm not big on making new friends with all the BS going on right now.

This makes me want to cut my sub out. I'm done with BFA and i want older content completed. Changing characters dealing with rep just to do this and get the achievement is a waste of time and pretty silly IMO when they know damn good and well they can make it so certain mechanics are tweaked when a new xpac comes out, or at least is at the END of the sequel Xpac, seeing as how Shadowlands will be coming in the next 6-8 months.

Before you say its not easy to code, tell them to hire me. I'll do it myself.

As of 9.1, even though the quest requires level 45, it's basically impossible to complete at that level:

- With Chromie Time active, you can't enter ANY raids in the game.
- With Chromie Time off, you can't queue (LFR) for Legion raids via Archmage Timear in Dalaran (Broken Isles) until level 50.
- AFAIK you can't solo "normal Legion raids" until at least level 50 (not sure if maybe also at level 48-49, but definitely not at level 45 or 46).

It would "theoretically" be possible to complete the raid with a level 45-49 group, but good luck finding 9 other people at that level range who would want to do that :/
