A quest that was fun during parts of it and which could have been a reasonable explanation for how the Netherwing dragons might be brought into the fold, but I thought it was pretty incomprehensible that Vyranoth was able to just freeze and disable a Titan Keeper of Odyn's strength with little more than the snap of her fingers, much less in his own domain. This one smacked of pushing a social justice agenda. There was no struggle, no believable story unfolding (which is absolutely par for the course with this brand of awful "storytelling") just a bunch of Odyn's lieutenants and troops who have stood by him for millennia basically bowing to Vyranoth either directly or indirectly, only for her to penultimately (as previously stated) completely overpower him without any struggle whatsoever. It was utterly nonsensical and completely unbelievable. And then, despite her supposed anger towards him, Vyranoth leaves him frozen yet otherwise unscathed instead of destroying (or at least more thoroughly) neutralizing him. None of it makes sense... but then again, neither does Vyranoth joining Alexstrasza and the rest of the Aspects when she was previously imprisoned by them for millennia and she rebuffed their previous offers to join them, only for her to suddenly about-face. I'm glad Metzen is back, because the current "story tellers" can't tell compelling or believable stories even if their lives depended upon it and are far too focused on injecting their personal "perspectives" into the game rather than making an enjoyable game that has believable storytelling. It's no wonder why the game has been struggling from a storytelling and engagement perspective ever since the majority of the OG creators left... but it's fairly par for the course for those with a specific agenda but no talent of their own to take something created by those with talent and completely run it into the ground whilst simultaneously trying to force their personal views upon the playerbase without even the slightest iota of subtlety or skill. There's nothing wrong with strong female characters when they're well-written, in fact they can be incredible in the hands of a talented storyteller, but this "story" absolutely falls far short of that benchmark.(##RESPBREAK##)258##DELIM##Sas148##DELIM##

When approach Odyn - you must "yell" by action button.
I did it to final chamber and tehn relog, poooff, full run again :D

Once you complete the questline, you can return to where the Netherwing settled in Thaldraszus (61,73) and see them moving in and settling. The Nether Drakes use the new DF model, and you can see them flying outside the cave too!

If you speak to them, they are voice acted. "Oh, you're corporeal."

Inside the cave is Mordenaku, who is Mordenai and starts the Netherwing reputation questline in Shadowmoon Valley.

He is speaking to Tyrygosa, a blue dragon who assisted the Nether Drakes in Netherstorm under the guise of Tyri. There is a quest chain where Tyrygosa studies the Nether Drakes and prevents them from falling under the sway of malevolent powers.

Not an important comment, but to free up some bag space I thought I'd disenchant some stuff. I de'd a 441 mace and ended up getting Vanilla mats worth 2g (5 x Large Brilliant Shard ). The mace vendors for 120g, the mats for much more, so don't de stuff in this instance ! lol

On a side note, Vyranoth is disgusted that Odyn has subjugated dragon-kin. She should see my mount collection, so many dragons locked away for my own pleasure, lol

This the most single handedly the dumbest $%^&ing quest line I have ever had the displeasure of doing what in what @#$%ing world would vyranoth ever over power odyn and odin isnt even in the @#$%ing halls of valor he left for ulduar at the end of his storyline also why do we have to to join vyranoth if i had the choice I would join odyn ^&*! these lame ass friendship is magic dragon wtf get these garbage as &*!@ writers outta here ruing the *!@#ing story.

Blizzard needs to implement options in game to allow us to downvote quests after completing them so they can see just how stupid they are.

So, there's this gigantic dragon hovering around. It could just... step on all the trash mobs. And yet there it is. Just hovering over my head.

..it's not even that I chose the dialogue (roughly) stating:

(misquoute? inaccurate, but:)
"I'm just here for the loot , lady."

(but rather "if you say so" *shrug*)

but Hymdall didn't provide a chest, while anticipating to soon have it in front of me* (ironically enough)

and so, just to not make this writing here some "raw non-informational" thing:

You can run past those Vrykul being stealthed, prowling, etc.
(just as the objective tells, "get past" - while we're at it:
greetings to all players prolonging Pandaria Scenarios back then.. we're not eveen farming here! get a room with your practice(-ing) dummes, preferably!)

(*probably got used to the procedure after "having to go there so many times" back then and also later on
- glad it's still possible to do.. in order to get through balance of power on every class-hall-class once - for all those Weapon looks)

now that I had that fight while being under the effects of the PX - 238 Winterwolt
(comparing to former times) -
I kind of wonder if this would look more neat - or rather.. being this "astral gnome" I was depicting
(instead of an Astral Tauren which might be just ankle-high for an Odin's foot -)
.. wonder if a "squish" animation, each time he was literally stepping on me, would have made it look more awkwardly realistic(ly neat)

Also:

Why does that lady just watch us fight if she could have done that freeze-squeeze thing having Odin turn into in icicle right away?

The netherwing part of this chapter was great. I think the thoringir deserved their own chapter, though, and we'd get more than her just snapping her fingers. I think her rage is justified...? But it was underbaked.

Also, don't tell her what he did to Helya! This isn't Odyn's first crime against autonomy, so it seems a little weird that in Legion, we beat up Helya who is the victim of being enslaved by Odyn and don't think twice about why she is so twisted while Odyn is the good guy, but Vyranoth can yell "bad man" and suddenly he's a villain.

I might be the only one in the world for whom this is an issue, but the quest sat in my log for a few weeks because I couldn't figure out how to continue it at the "0/1
Speak with Vyranoth to go to the Halls of Valor" stage and the Vyranoth standing right there in front of me at the Central Encampment with a grey question mark over her head and she does not offer any options for going to the Halls of Valor.

Finally worked out that back in Valdrakken, inside the Roasted Ram Inn next to the central square, there is a portal to Stormheim. I don't know if at one point I asked Vyranoth to open it, but even if so the incomplete quest criteria didn't mark off the the active "ask Vyranoth" part.

So anyway, if you somehow also got progression blocked because your queue popped or whatever, try looking in the Roasted Ram for a portal. Vyranoth will be on the other side, ready to zone you into the Halls of Valor scenario. *That* is the "ask Vyranoth" part.
