3420 seems like quite a lot.

Minus the 1000 for regular flasks and you still have 2420 which is wayyy above the benefits from the other professions.

i.e Enchanting 160 Stat x 2. (320)

My hope is that the Alchemists Flasks will just let us not bother with regular flasks, and instead just drink ours for Int/Str/Agi equal to the perk average. So as long as they knock it down to:

Increases your Agility, Strength, or Intellect by 1320 for 2 hrs. Your highest stat is always chosen.

.. then we'll be about square.

Unless I've missed something?

The number is high and is probably a placeholder like aggixx said.

Most likely, this flask will give a bonus of 320 to a primary stat for 2 hours so alchemists will always have their bonuses. Mixology will probably not work with this flask.

Mixology should give you 320 of whatever stat flask you have on for 2 hours.

When logging in after 5.0.4, I had to relearn the skill from the trainer. The flask had disappeared from my inventory, but I got it back in the mail... stat nerfed to 80. Eighty! :S

Wowhead is currently wrong, the flask is +80. Still quite useful, that's a feast, or 2 +40 gems.

The flask upgrades to +320 at level 87, automatically. I have three alchemists, and I noticed the change when two of them hit 87. It may have been some point earlier, but my guild confirms at level 87 they see their flasks giving +320 to the primary stat.

EDIT - it could also be at a certain skill level, like 550, but I can't confirm that. Will update if I hear different or when my last alchemist starts leveling.

At level 90 with 600 Alchemy, this flask gives exactly 320 of a single stat.
Not really worth it, since the elixirs (and even flasks) are quite cheap.

However, just to point out, this +320 Agi/Str/Intel is exactly how much Mixology (alchemist's "bonus") grants if you consume a full flask.
So, in short, this item will allow you to constantly receive your Mixology bonus even when you do not consume a "full" flask.

I am assuming this flask upgrades its stats based on expansion levels. As a level 45 it gave a bonus of +16. At level 57 (the level for outlands gear/BC) the bonus changed to +32. I will see if it upgrades again at 67 (wotlk) and 77 or 78(cata).

If you make this at lvl 90 with only 300 alchemy, it will still give you the full +320 stat bonus.

If you're gathering your own herbs to create this then Winterspring is the place to go for Icecap and Un'Goro Crater for Ghost Mushroom.

You'll also find Mountain Silversage in both of those locations.

Tip: Click the flask twice in a row to get 3 hours of the buff instead of 2!

At character level 58, this is useless. Only gives 12 agility on a druid.

Man they nerfed this thing hard. It might as well be considered unusable until you start getting +80 in your primary stat (not sure what level that is). Just learned this recipe on my lvl 64 DK and was incredibly disappointed to see it only gives +16 STR. With the STR/AP ratio being close to 1:2, for comparison the Flask of Relentless Assault is usable after one more level (65) and gives 120 AP for 2 hours to an alchemist. That's close to 60 STR and those flasks don't appear to scale from what I have seen (my lvl 67 rogue got the full 120 AP and if it scaled with a min lvl req. of 65 I assumed it would have maxed out at 70, but that isn't the case, it's a static AP gain)
