This spell still causes issues in 2022 Shadowlands if you solo run Mythic Hellfire on BFA geared alts. My i180 Druid needs to run away after DoTing, or risk being one shot. Anything over i200 you probably won't even see the spell cast. You face them just after Socrethar the Eternal (2nd level boss who enters the construct) in the Amphitheater of the Eternal in Hellfire Citadel.

A stealthie can walk right past these mobs. A druid should be able to remove the curse.
