I'm not sure this might work in BG's. If a horde does attack it, then you'll know that they're in there and are either trying to take the flag, and such, but a horde member will know that their cover is blown if they attack it, so all they have to do is simply ignore it.

I've never seen this ability, and i've played Deathknight for quite awhile on beta, not on the trainer and not a talent, it's either a quest reward unknown to me or it's NOT in the game.

Please. This is just sentry totem... thats all it is. Its fun, but I have never once used Sentry Totem for anything unless I was joking.

it's possible that this is like a cross between sentry totem and eye of kilrogg, since if you look at the wording of sentry totem, it says it summons an immobile totem, but if you look at the wording of eye of acherus, it doesn't say anything about being immobile.

Semantics, its true, and Blizz is notorious for misleading tooltips, but the rest of it looks like it was just copy-pasted, so i think there's a distinct possibility that this will be mobile.

Seeing as it costs 1 Frost Rune, It looks to be a usable ability.

Somewhat of a novelty ability, but having played a Hunter most of my 'WoW career' It's a nice substitute for Eagle Eye. Great for keeping an EYE on someones corpse if you plan on corpse camping.

Only this time I can claim corpse camping as part of my Class role!

I cant find this in game anywhere. I think venom210 is right, it might have been datamined from the quest.

But i don't see how it was labled as a 69 spell as well as the tooltip, the quest's eye had nothing to do with using it like a sentry totem or eye of killrogg. Im thinking it was a beta spell that was removed at some point. Shame really, this would be a nice ability.

this was removed on the final beta build, before the release of wrath of the lich king.

Aww - too bad it was removed before WotLK. It would have made a nice counterpoint to the Warlock's 'Eye of Kilrogg' and the Hunter's 'Eagle Eye'.
