At this point, Blizzard needs to consider their audience wants every npc/character a playable race! this is getting ridiculous!
Can't you idiots realize that the Alliance will not welcome the Shadowmoon orcs into their fold? We'll be getting half-elves and that's final!
Ian mentioned "Draenor Orcs" so my guess is the ones from the alternate dimension (I know Outland is draenor, but I think he wouldn't have said "Draenor" if that was the case). My hope is that we can use the skins from any of the clans, such as blackrock, burning blade, sahttered hands, etc. not only the brown skin from frostwolves and warsong.
Well, I'd prefer Mag'har after all the time I spent with them in BC.But if it must be 'Draenor' orcs... why Gorgrond? Will we be based in BRF like Nightborne in Nighthold?
Half elves? Really? The only half elf in game is freakin Kalecgos. At least pick something that's actually had a model done for more than one person.
People seem to be forgetting that there is no Gorgrond in Outland. Gorgrond and Frostfire Ridge were melded together to form the Blade's Edge Mountains in Outland so if this is indeed Gorgrond it will be AU Draenor Orcs, not Outland Mag'har that get recruited there.
Ive been waiting since BC for brown orcs, if Alliance get them I will be furious.
You could have almost every single gunship built by your faction be made to crash spectacularly while watching the opposite side lose exactly ONE gunship in over five expansions in a row (Horde loses a gunship in gilneas, deepholm, dragon soul, end times, jade forest, broken shore and many others. Alliance quite literally has lost only ONE gunship, on the pandaren starting zone. That's it)You forgot the one that crashes in Stormheim, the first gunship the king is on heading into broken shore also crashes and it is heavily implied in one of the deepholm quests that the alliance gunship there gets to crash as well. By my count that’s 6 lost for Horde and 4 for Alliance. Hardly a difference at all.
It literally makes no sense they'd come from "Draenor" because that was a different time and space than where we are now. Garrosh used the bronze dragons to go back in time and open a portal to now from then. But we defeated them and closed that window. Opening ANOTHER time portal just to bring in Orcs that would otherwise not exist in our time and space is just stupid and messy. It would be way easier to explain and understand if they were from Outland, so Mag'har it must be otherwise Blizzard are just digging themselves in a hole. Also, I'm pretty sure Blizzard said at some point we wouldn't ever be revisiting that timeline where Grom etc are young, alive and well.
From what I recall Eitrigg is Blackrock. Maybe since Blackhand carked it, Eitrigg decides to mosey on up to Gorgrond, off the replacement leader, and bring them into the Horde.
Arator is using the BE model though.
This Half-elf thing its totally lame. Come on guys we pay blizzard to give us new content, not blood elves with blue eyes! Same goes for the High Elves. The alliance community cried years for them and the best blizzard could do is give them the void ones. I guess its more lore spiced. For every alliance guy who wants high elves, just play frozen throne alliance campaign- a reminder why there is not much of high elves, thanks to Garithos. As for the orcs, I had the idea the datamined version says draenor orcs, not outland orcs, is that legit name from the files?or the community named them like that?
