Any idea what the list of loot for this is, or is that yet to be found? I assume it's like the crate from the old BMAH in MoP so it has a wide chance of different loot.

Any idea what does it require to spawn? I cleared full normal(although last two bosses in pugs), guild-killed Kargath and pugged Butcher. After reset I got this mission again, but it's still NORMAL. Do I need to clear heroic for heroic to spawn? It kinda renders bvll%^&* to all other official statements. Or do I need to clear like half of the difficulty?

Confirmed yesterday that it takes 2 Kills on Imperator to get the cache upgrades.
You do not have to clear the whole raid 2 times, Just Imperator.
I had 3x Heroic Kills and got my Mythic Cache, others in my guild that had waited with the 645 upgrades like I did with only 2 kills still got the normal one. So that might have something to say, but I know others only had 2 kills aswell.

Copied from my post on the mythic cache, but it applies to the Heroic one aswell, you need 2 kills on imperator to get the upgraded cache from the mission.

Requirements for Caches:

Cache of Highmaul Treasures (Normal):

- 2x ilvl645 Follower (confirmed)

Cache of Highmaul Treasures (Heroic):

- 2x ilvl645 Follower
- 15x Bosskills from normal mode (confirmed by 3 scources)

Cache of Highmaul Treasures (Mythic):

- 2x ilvl645 Follower
- 15x Bosskills from heroic mode (confirmed by 2 scources)

Cache of Highmaul Treasures + 1000 Gold (Mythic Bonus):

- 2x ilvl645 Follower
- 15x Bosskills from mythic mode

You need to meet the requirements prior to getting the mission. The cache will display in advance what kind you get (hover over the item in the mission tab to see the tooltip for normal, heroic, mythic).

Edit1: seems the info below is not complete yet, will update as I get more examples, it looked to me like those were the criteria.
Edit2: Criteria seems to be 15 Bosskills, confirmed by several scources on wowhead comments and from friends of mine

These do infact drop loot from the raid difficulty that the box says. They have a chance to be warforged and have a socket and extra stat. It will be an item your class can equip but it is NOT necessarily usable by your spec. As a Brewmaster Monk I received an intellect/spirit ring and I do not have healing as my MS or OS. This was also confirmed by the GM after I submitted a ticket regarding that incident.

Just for the sake of information, I was loot spec'ed as a Ret Pally and got the Heroic version of Entrail Squishers. Unfortunately I already had these, but at least I got a socket on the new one!

Please keep in mind that while it takes 15 Kills on each difficulty to unlock the next "tier" of Cache, these kills must also award you with loot (Gold/Gear) to count towards unlocking this. Jumping into multiple Normals in one week will not allow you to unlock this Heroic Cache.

However, you can progress between each "level" of Cache, in that you can clear out Normal and get as far into Heroic as possible and you will also be getting credit towards your Mythic Cache. IE: You can progress on every tier of Cache each week, you just can't unlock them in one week.

My first ever mission was when I had 2x645 and one 642. I had 60% chance of success and got it. to my surprise, I got the 670 version of Pillar of the Earth. By the time I was 5/7 N and 1/7 H. If I killed 15 bosses on normal, be sure it was in my many attempts and killing many times Kargath without getting loot.

Its a damn cache. It gave me an heroic girdle and I had an heroic girdle already. Ive entered in Rage when i saw it. So much bad luck for me I guess.

Just as a bit of bonus information, I'm not entirely sure if this can drop any piece of gear in the raid, nor do they share an equal drop rate.
I have opened a total of four of these and have received the following pieces of loot:
Resto Druid:
Golden-Tongued Seal
Golden-Tongued Seal
Holy Paladin:
Golden-Tongued Seal
Disc Priest:
Golden-Tongued Seal

Now call me crazy, but if there are roughly 24 pieces of gear that this box could actually contain for your spec, and each piece had an equal drop rate, I'd imagine the chances of getting the same item 4 times in a row would be pretty low. I'd also imagine that just getting the same item once would be a pretty low chance..

So I'm not entirely convinced the items actually have equal drop rates.

Now that I've moved onto Mythic Caches on two of my characters, I thought I'd go ahead and post my new drops:

Is anyone starting to see... I don't know... a pattern? I mean 8 boxes, and only 3 different pieces of loot, 2 of which are both rings?

Update:
With the recent changes that increase your likelihood of getting more stat appropriate pieces (Bonus Armor for Tanks, Spirit for healers) Ive noticed a huge change in my cache loot!
Resto Druid:

Ring of Infinite Accretion Plain
Disc Priest:
Kargath's Last Link Plain

I would like to agree with the comment stating that the kills must drop loot. Killing Kargath 15 times on normal in a week will not work.

My boyfriend and I had 11 normal kills after we finished normal this week. We decided to go and pug the first 4 bosses again for the 15 kills. We didnt get loot but we got "kills" on the statistics counter.

3 days later when my cache popped, it was still normal and not heroic. The next day his popped and it was normal aswell.

So this is either a bug for me and my boyfriend both, or working as intended and you only get credit for kills when its a legit boss kill with loot meaning its not meant to me farmed.

I would like to mention that I spoke to a GM today about the kill requirements on the different Tiers of Cache's. I was informed that the kill count is only meant to be credited for kills which you are eligible for loot with.

It was potentially bugged to give kill credit while loot locked, but they are looking to straighten that out. If you are not being promoted to the next Tier of Cache's, then it's probably intended because of this, but due to the inaccurate information out there it's a little misleading as to what's true. Don't try and cut corners. Get your kills legit, and you will be rewarded correctly with the proper Missions.
