Good change, but I still wonder what will happen for expansions like Legion, where the tier pieces aren't from Tokens. Are those items gonna be warbound too, or collectible via other classes?
This change is awesome. I'm always getting tokens on the wrong characters.

Alpha tester here. I just ran and killed Trilliax in Nighthold on this latest Alpha build to see if tier set pieces (not tokens) locked to Classes would be warbound or get added to Collection right away. Unfortunately not. Hopeful they'll change this in the spirit of the change to legacy tier tokens.https://i.postimg.cc/5tmrqjKw/image.png
I cannot overstate how grateful I am for that.Sets not being eligible to unlock on any character like regular gear was my greatest heartbreak regarding Warbands and now it's gone :D

This change is important and huge, but also mandatory. I'm happy they listened to feedback, but also somewhat confused why they didn't design it like that from the start. What would be the point of giving us the option to learn every transmog but still requiring us to run the old raids with all the classes for their tier? There's still an open issue though which needs to be adressed. Wowhead's chosen picture for this article (the amazing Tomb of Sargeras rogue tier set) illustrates this nicely. The issue is that some legacy raids don't drop tier tokens but class tier items directly. This is true for all Legion raids. These direct dropping tier items need to be warbound as well, if not learned directly like the other transmogs. Otherwise we'd still have to run Antorus with every class only to have the wrong class tier cloak dropping every time (been there, done that).
Will this be for new item drops only, or also for existing items already sitting in the bank or void store?
They rarely do anything good these days, but this is nice.
