On the topic of balancing around several aspects of game play:I'm fairly sure I remember them saying they were going to stop trying to balance 2v2 arena? Or they might have been talking about 1v1, I can't remember now.I do definitely know, though, that they're removing 25 player rated battlegrounds, although that wasn't a balancing issue. So the scope might be narrower than you thought.<3 the face you made when you half-assedly tried to fix the license plate.
I'm just watching PST Ep. 2 and found that interesting about the guild leading stuff. We are in someway in a transition. We are a group of people that came together for schedule purpose and playtime and we are not in the same time zone as the majority of the people on that server (Europe). At the begining, we were just folks enjoying there evening play, doing few evening raid per week and finally cleared ICC10. We were kinda proud and in the meantime, guild was growing up with people that were just enjoying their playtimes and the ambiance with the guildies (we cleary stated they were not joining us for raiding purpose but for the friendship - they didn't have the raider rank). I was telling myself, hey, we could possibly start some raiding in 25-man with just a few pickup players. But in the process, we decided to rush ICC Hard Mode and were being a little bit more serious about it and we had to make choices as to who we are inviting to our raids and some people were not quite happy with it as they felt left on the side line and we actually lost some of them which is pretty sad. So yeah, moving from a casual/casual raider guild to a more serious raiding guild, we lost some of the people that joined us to enjoy the friendship in the first place. We had to make choices, we were not able to bring every one in the raid group for different reasons (stuff, learning process, etc) and we cannot please everyone. It's unfortunate, but that's the way it is. Moving from casual to a more serious guild will make some people go away because they are not happy with the changes and that's too bad for them and for us that want to stick with the guild and continue to move on.Thank you for listening my lil' story. :)
