This is really cool. I love the effects and it's a really great addition to the zone.
I know there are invisible walls preventing players from reaching it, but is this a fancy skybox? Or is there actually an art asset doing this transition?
That... is fricking cool. And doesn't seem like it will get annoying, so that's another plus.
Looks cool. But the particles that go off while changing colors look weirdly... fake? Reminds me too much of something like TRON
Alright this looks fantastic.Great job art team !
Looks like it's the tip of the sword. Especially with the cracked stone around it. Like it's been shoved through the ceiling. We are underground so it makes sense. Aparently it's not though. /shrug
It's the sword! It's not the swordBut what if it IS the sword? It's not the sword, Blizzard confirmed it.But it LOOKS like the sword. No, it doesn't? It isn't the sword, here's a lot of evidence and foreshadowing that it's likely a Draenei ship with dying Naaru onboard.I think it's the sword. It's not the sword!Look, I know that blizzard said it isn't and that it's not geographically feasible, and it doesn't look like the sword, but it's definitely the swordOn and on forever and ever
I can see how people make the leap between the sword and this crystal. But a blade tip is flat on two sides. This is 3d all the way around, like a pencil tip. And it has Naaru runes. It's on the wrong side of the planet. Oh, and Blizzard has confirmed its not the sword. But people gonna believe! I think its the equivalent of Wow's Flat Earthers. "The Sword Tip Society"
Looks pretty cool. If it's like this for 30min every 3 hours, sounds like a zone event, like Wintergrasp, for example.
Oh man, that be one of the coolest effects they've done! Beautiful.
The people who still say this is the sword are the kind of people who get pissed off when a game company doesn't reveal a surprise new game in a video they say ahead of time won't reveal any new games. They'll claim this is the sword despite Blizzard confirming it is not, and then once it's revealed to be a naaru ship in the game they'll act like Blizzard misled them, or it's bad writing, or anything else to avoid taking responsibility for their stubbornness.
Someone make an animated desktop background and screen saver of this please!
Blacklight party.
This would've been very, very nice to go in and actually be surprised by it. What happened to hiding things behind spoiler tags? You're doing the community a disservice by ruining some of these genuine surprises.
It's not any more of a 'surprise' than Catha rising and reflecting light off her surface. If it didn't show up in Alpha or Beta videos, people would talk about it anyway.
