Hopefully this will help world PvP. I've killed players within two to three globals, depending on the their setup, with tanks being out there. I don't consider any of this PvP, and while it can be funny at first to watch someone dip so quickly, it's not all that great. I'd rather have a battle in the end. That said, I'm quite squishy myself, so I can drown pretty quick if I'm not careful. All-around, it will be nice to have close to a better experience.
I see some QQing from the pvpers that miss one shotting players and replying with "You shouldn't have been on a pvp server then". World pvp should be fair game. It really is not fun being on either end of the arrangement when you 1 shot a player at max level (from stealth typically). The average human visual reaction time is approximately 0.25 seconds, how does one react when a rogue has LITERALLY 1 shotted you before you even had the chance to notice that you were in combat, let alone dead? No amount of skill saves you from that.... It's called Player Versus Player for a reason..... The other player didn't even have a chance to verse you back (regardless of who would have won).... World pvp in it's current iteration is not even remotely close to "pvp". In a sense, this is not catering to snowflakes, it's Blizzard fixing a problem that shouldn't have existed in the first place.
TOO LATE, those one-shooting retarded rouges on my server even feel tired to one-shooting people, they already got MUCH MORE than they want and AFKed.They are satisfied I think, and for me, NO.
Thank god, now I can stop getting one shot by other rouges.
Sad, now ill have to use the weaker trinkets like shoulders+vial to kill in 1.5 sec. prefered interchanging archi and draught to 1shot smw every 40 sec unpunished. on the bright side i farmed flamewatcher and ganked some opposing capitals
Where nerf to warlock and healer survivability? They're near unkillable. It easier for me to kill bear than lock or healer.
Finally, i was waiting for this.
They take 40% less damage? So it just gives them more time to run out of the ffa area or the brul safe zone when a fight isn't going their way. I expect you're going to see more running away from pvp in the pvp quest areas, not more pvp. But I could be wrong, I guess we'll see.
I do not think this will change anything at all.
In that sense they should make you unable to group up for those quests, that COMPLETELY ruins the idea of free for all. Only BRR you can attack your teammates, which still hold til FFA experience, but the other 3 you can just group up and rape people as a group.

Oh @#$% off Blizzard, everyone knew that if you engaged in world PVP there was always the risk of meeting someone more powerful than you. You could either try to avoid them, gang up on them or try to be better than them. To bring in these changes to appease some whiny minority is a !@#$ idea.

When I saw "changes to world PvP", I was kind of hoping they were about the world quests and they had gone back to dropping Gladiator instead of Combatant. Meh. :D
Was hoping for gladiator gear, kinda miss getting those since they look so lovely especially when they titanforge like crazy!
