The Corrosive Vials they throw on ya can stack and really burn you down pretty quick if your not careful.

This is an exceptionally good area to farm frostweave cloth in.

Forced respawns, and low hp mobs. As a boomkin, all I had to do was moonfire / insect swarm, and let the dots tick while i ran around dotting more mobs.

Do be careful like the previous poster said, the noxious gas is lethal if you let it stack, so always be moving.

Anyone else think that the one in the picture looks hot?
She's a scientist so a bit of a nerd, bit mis-understood working for 'Evil' and all(but thats always the same with a large chemical company)
Probably likes Metal (evil an all) & good at parties just look at the facepaint^^
And like many dragons you'll see in the game, (oddly), she'll have an awfully sexy voice.
Gotta say, if I get single again....I think i'd like to take this girl out for drinks ;D

Edit: Just heard from a friend, she never leaves work...damn large companies, and all their highly profitable over-time!

This is a playground for warlocks or dks who spec right. Non stop fast killing and lots of loot. Gets boring though

Yep , within about 100 Kills i got my Fur Lining Recipe. Please note that these 100Kills only took less then 10 Minutes , monsters are force spawned here.
As a moonkin i just did Moonfire > Insect swarm and keep running around like someone else already suggested :).

The area in which you find these mobs seems to be the new EPL, in that it is by far the most densely populated chinese gold farmer/bot location I have seen thus far into WotLK.

If you're on a PvP server, prepare for loads of free HKs and honor while you farm your cloth/recipes.

The Cult of the Damned, originally led by Kel'thuzad (a soul conscripted like so many of its other members, by the subtle beckoning of the Lich King enclosed inside the Frozen Throne), the catalyst of the destruction of Lordaeron, and those responsible for the death—and raising, through necromancy—of thousands, even millions, of men, women, and children. They are an arm, a separate section, to the Scourge, and a vital one at that: they are the mortal servants of the Lich King. And they do things which the undead cannot, such as infiltration in Valiance Keep (Quest: The Hunt is On) and in Sholazar Basin (Quest: Exterminate the Intruders)

"The Cult of the Damned has grown large in scope. Nearly every city, from the capitals to the small hamlets and hovels of both the Horde and Alliance, have Cult members hidden amongst their citizenry. Do not look so surprised. The Cult only wears a uniform for ritual and ceremony. It is quite possible that you have interacted with one during your adventures and not even known." (NPC: Magistrate Marduke) A major part of a Cultist's job, depending on their placement inside the organization, is infiltration of places (as listed above); largely, this is accomplished with an Orb of Illusion, an item given to every Initiate: "These artifacts are used to disguise a cult member, allowing them to gain safe passage, infiltrate, or simply blend in with an enemy." (Quest: Drag and Drop)

While the Orbs of Illusion may hide the visual effects of one's participation in Cult affairs (such as necromancy), there are certain things that simply cannot be hidden, not when an Oculus of the Exorcist, which allows those wielding it "to detect recent users of Cult of the Damned necromancy." (Item: Oculus of the Exorcist)

During its earlier years, the Cult preyed upon the outcasts in Lordaeron society—the abused, forgotten, unpopular, the failures—to fuel their agenda with willing, and wholly dedicated, individuals. They offered them anything—fame, power, glory, and money—to motivate them. Yet, simple devotion and a pledge of fealty is not enough; "pledges to the cult are forced to drink a concoction that steals their will and enslaves them forever to the Lich King." (Quest: Cannot Reproduce)

Using a plot of land owned by the Barovs, the Cult of the Damned opened up a clandestine academy named, Scholomance: here, Initiates of the Cult were trained in the art of Necromancy, indoctrinated with the dogma of the Cult, and fully converted to the ways of the organization. Cultist have a fascination with undeath; their greatest desire is to become undead (the ticket to immortality). And as such, their greatest punishment (and greatest motivation) is the threat of death without rebirth.

The Cult used the Plague of Undeath, a magically-enhanced disease which not only murdered its hosts but raises them as the undead, to destroy both of the Kingdom of Lordaeron. The grain shipments, using Andorhal as its main hub, was the device by which the Cult employed to spread the regnant Plague of Undeath. With each fallen foe, the Scourge grew—and the necromancers of the Cult were vital to achieving that overwhelming advantage against their enemy.

Currently, the only two members of the Cult of the Damned that are not inside the game-world are Ul'haik Hadanot and Pai Stormbringer; they are Next-in-Line to ascend to undeath, making them the mortal leaders of the Cult, and the only two members of this organization that are not dead, in the literal sense.

I think that this Formula: Enchant Cloak - Superior Nature Resistance does actually have a very low drop rate for non enchanters. However, I think if you are an enchanter the drop rate increases ALOT until you have picked up the enchant for yourself, thats if you have it on your person, whether thats in your bag or bank. If you mail to an alt or give to a friend you can loot again! I plan on confirming this with a GM later, I'll post back if i get more info. But thats been my experience with this and other boe enchants that are mob specific. Also, it may be while an enchanter is in the group, the drop prioritizes, only letting the person with enchanting roll on it, so as to avoid ninjas, or people to benefit from the drop rate boost of an enchanter in group.

Actually a VERY good mob for levelling from 77 onwards if you're a RDPS.

Just pool rested XP, then come here, killing them one at a time. Got my mage from 77-80 in 3 hours with the first level and a half rested. Wasn't as effective on my Death Knight as I had to run between the mobs, and they actually had a chance to counter-attack so I was constantly forced to use Death Strike instead of a damaging attack.

Haven't tried it on any other classes, but on my Arcane mage it was incredibly fast. If I recall correctly it's between 2000 and 3000 xp a kill, but I may be wrong. Might be near 1000 if you're not rested, now that I think about it.

I can confirm that the drop rate for the alchemy recipes is HIGH. I got all 3 Resistance recipes in about 15min.

(Their respawn time is fast too :D)

Since Patch 5.0.4, this mob no longer drops the now deprecated recipes: Formula: Enchant Cloak - Superior Nature Resistance and Pattern: Fur Lining - Nature Resist. Both recipes have been completely removed from game.
