You can easily solo him with a level 25 Enchanted Broom by just spamming Wind-Up

It doesn't appear to have any extra pets spawning with him like he did on the Beta.

This is against a 1 beast team.

My team was a leveling pet, an (H/S) 1/1/2 Menagerie Custodian, and a (P/P) 1/1/1 Iron Starlette. My Rematch link has the notes to defeat him.

Bloodtusk:4A8K:ZL:112916B:11141BB:N:1) Do some damage with leveling pet\n\nSwitch to Menagerie Custodian\n\n2) Shock & Awe\n3) Zap until Shock & Awe is down\n4) Shock & Awe\n5) Repeat Bloodtusk is lower than 700 damage and do Ion Cannon

Interesting information regarding bloodtusk that i have discovered.
Power:218
Speed:273
Beast
He takes extra damage from mechanical pets and reduced from humanoid pets.
25% increased damage once below 50%
Evolving Bite is a multiplicative attack each time it's used deals 44-74 aquatic damage and increases by 119 each time Max is 5950 extra vs elemental and reduced for magical.

My suggestion is launch 3 mechanicals at him and you'll do fine

Soloed with a B/B Cogblade Raptor. Open with Exposed Wounds and then use Batter; only takes about 4 rounds.

Evolving attack deals increasing damage so it's either a 1shot/short fight or forfeit.

This is the kind of disappointment that makes you go to bed when you're just looking for some simple fun before sleep but don't have anything to match sadface.jpg

Insanely easy to solo with Pet Bombling just use Toxic Smoke then Batter until the poison wears off, reapply Toxic Smoke and Batter until he's dead. Voila.

Soloed with Sunreaver Micro-Sentry, 2/2/1

Open with Call Lightning, Haywire, wait a turn for Haywire to end, and finish with Fel Immolate.

You'll cut it close, but you'll kill it.

I read these comments and was prepared for an easy solo. Not the case.

If he kills the pet, he is healed to full health. He only has one ability and it increases with each use. So you have to take him down with the the first pet.

I have found that Weebomination, or any undead pets with corpse explosion is another great strategy for this. Crawg doesn't buff if your pet dies by corpse explosion, so when in low health you can use it once, come back with immunity and then use it again.

Throw in a high burst damage pet with burn/poison (I used Fel Flame), and it's an easy win.

The following spoiler tag contains the rematch code, with fight instructions for this fight. It just uses the Enchanted Broom spamming Wind-up till the win. But its still nice to have the rematch string so you don't have to remember what this particular fight requires.

Its not worth trying to level a pet in this battle as the exp is not worth it.

This strategy came from Gershuun#1131 on Xu-Fu's Pet Battle Strategies.

If you don't know how to use the Rematch addon have a look at the Wowhead guide I wrote, which also includes the Rematch code for this and all BGA Pet Battle World quests (so you can import all the teams and fights at once rather than one at a time).

Another pet that can solo this guy is the Darkmoon Zeppelin (1, 2, 2).

Start with Decoy, then use Missile and continue using it until you know your pet will die on the next turn. Since Darkmoon Zeppelin is a mechanical, it will resurrect during that turn, and will perform the action selected at the beginning of the turn, which is Explode.

Poor Bloodtusk never knew what hit him.

MINI THOR lvl 23. 1-1-2 just use toxic smoke for dot. then launch rocket twice for 1200 ish dmg. then missile him til hes dead if he lives that long

Just posting to help others that might not have some of the pets listed above like I didn't. I soloed him first turn with Brightpaw.
Prowl > Arcane Dash > Arcane Blast x3

Using Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling with Explode and Bombing Run you're able to hit him with 1 bomb and queue another during the dragonlings first life, and then use Explode after your dragonling revives with his passive. This cheats Bloodtusk's passive so he doesn't get the healing or the buff. Then your second battle pet just has to hit him a few times until the next bomb drops. The dragonling was the only high level mech pet I had so this is how I did it.

You can solo with G0-R4n-0N Ultratonk. I Used the Demolish ability 4 times and Bloodtusk went right down.

Clockwork Gnome can solo, though not without engaging failsafe. I never got to my second pet -- I had Darkmoon Zeppelin and Tonk in reserve just in case.

If you're fortunate enough to have Armored Vaultbot, send him in. Money Meteor, Clobber (just because you can) and Coin Toss x 3. Turns Bloodtusk into a wet spot on the ground. I had Darkmoon Zeppelin and Clockwork Gnome as backups but they were there just to keep the Vaultbot company.

Took someone else's suggestion of using G0-R41-0N Ultratonk and was able to sail through using 1x Shock and Awe then 4x Launch Rocket. Didn't get the rng luck of a stun from Shock and Awe, but it didn't make any negative difference.

They've updated the difficulty of this pet in the WQ. You can hear the Loa commenting. Where Iron starlette used to solo this for me it doesn't any more and backing it up with 2 other mechs, even with hunt/swarm didn't help because he just healed back to full health between battle pets. The following now worked for me:

Unborn Valley 1,1,2,3
Shock, Shock, Curse, Haunt

Blackfuse Bomling 1,2,3
Shock, Bombing, Armageddon

Crawg dies, but I had

Iron Starlette as mop up if I'd needed it.

I had a Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling and Lil'Bling as backups but didn't need either.
