Thank you for this unbelievable guide!

That's a great idea! This upcoming guide for the weekend will cover the 50 easiest elders to get if you're rolling an opposite-faction toon for the pet. I wanted to include a section talking about interact with target/easy quest turnin macros :)
Great guide ^^
Downside to having only 84 coins is that for engineers who want the recipes, new pet and the Lunar Festival Finery achieve, you get shafted by one lousy coin.
Elder Splitrock shown on the wrong map ... not the level of
There is a typo (I think) in Elder Dreamseer's location in the Elders of Kalimdor table. The correct location is 51.3, 27.8 28.8 in Tanaris.
It's ordered by Elder name like how the achievement lists them in alphabetical order. People have given some addons in the comments about Elder route-planners, if that is helpful.
I would like to point out that you can keybind the interact with target to a button. I use the ` key for mine. I use the /tar macro then press the `, which since I have click to move turned on, it takes me immediately to intaraction distance and opens the dialog screen up so that I can then use the macro above. While this is two clicks, it still is a lot less work than doing it manually.I used the same thing during Winterveil to get my tailoring patterns from the opposite faction so now both my tailors can do red and green winter clothes. I didn't even have to dismount, I flew in to Iron Forge on my undead and got the pattern with two clicks, in succession. It was rather nice.
This guide was a great help. The only down side is, as Superczar said, if you're an engineer, and this is your first year, you are one coin short of getting all achievements, engi patterns, and the pet. Wouldn't be a problem if we could share coins between our own characters, but I can see that being easily abused.
Just a suggestion...might want to think about putting the flight points in order of flying NOT in alphabetical order. Going by this guide will have you up and down Azeroth and Kalmindor wasting a lot of time!
For those who are relatively low level who want to get the lantern: if you do the 21 Elders of Kalimdor, the 17 Elders of Eastern Kingdoms, both sets of leaders (6), that leaves you with 44. If you can fly, you can easily do all four Cata elders in Kalimdor and it's possible to do the two in Twilight Highlands (but mobs around Firebeard make him tough) for all 50 required. If you have to run, it would take a long time to get to some of the elders. If some of those are too tough (I didn't even try Elder Bronzebeard in Ironforge on my Hordies), you can substitute some of the elders in the dungeons. Maraudon (Elder Splitrock) is the easiest of the dungeons, but it's a long run to get to the elder. In some other ones, the elder is closer to the entrance, but the level is higher, so which is best depends on the character.
