My favorite boss was probably Highest Priestess Jeklik, the Bat boss in original ZG. It wasn't because it was a great encounter, but because it was the first raid boss I had ever killed. Playing wow was very casual for me back then since i was playing with a very slow computer and using dial up. I was invited cause of a connection from a RL friend. Most of them were friendly but didn't trust me in terms of holding my own in the raid since i was the least geared (was using 2 42dps blue axes that dropped from Scholomance.) After multiple wipes and a whole 2 hours later, we downed the boss and to my surprise, i was the 2nd highest damage done in the raid. Sure, i didnt get privilege to loot, nor much respect even though i did very well, but it sure was fun and very memorable.

Me gusto mucho el encuentro con Lady Susurramuerte Y es que en el discurso que dice habla sobre la maldición de carne es muy chevere
The big bad wolf event in Karazhan is one of my favorite encounters. Watching my overly-ragey/condescending GM get turned into little red riding hood then subsequently fail at running was priceless to me; even if it meant that my ears got abused via Vent afterwards! ^^
Felmyst in Sunwell Plateau would be my favorite raid encounter it's an old BC 25 man raid that even back in Wrath when we over geared the raid by much wipes occurred frequently the fights were by far harder than WotLK was and it took the game and unlike Wrath raids and instances BC raids made the game easier than Vanilla without people being able to roll their face on the keyboard and successfully finish the encounter of the instances.
In vanilla the world dragons were always fun. It was more than just getting a group and doing an instance. They had very long respawn timers and often you were racing to put a group together and tag him before another group. Not to mention, griefing the opposite faction while they were attempting these encounters made me giddy.
Definitely the the chest fight from Karazhan. It was incredibly fun and i loved how the raid had to work together, and between you and me, Medivh's pretty cute. ;)
Lich King heroic. It's unique, fun and really epic in my opinion. And it has a cinematic too in the end! :)
best fight: gurtogg bloodboil, sort of tank n spank, lots of aoe healing, lots of damage, and once you get that lucky fel rage from him, and you do your bajillion damage. 1 time that is. not. ever. again.
My favourite encounter is Magtheridon. Soooo many wipes i never see
My Favourite encounter ever would have to be Magtheridon's Lair. It had everything you need for an enjoyable fun fight which relied heavily on players knowing exactly what to do at all times. Yes it was kind of stressfull especially after a lot of wipes, but the sense of achievement gained when my guild finally killed him, i haven't been able to duplicate since. The mechanics were spot on, there was even an epic ending, blizzard threw the kitchen sink at you with this encounter, i still remember the pained cries on vent when someone forgot to clicky clicky, there was no room for error on anyones part and the fight lasted such a long time, to say it was intense would be an understatement.Blizzard nailed it with this fight, tactics, positioning, strategy, awareness all rolled into one, this is one fight i never grew tired of wiping on, there was an urgency to kill him after so many 10% or less wipes, and when he went down, i unashamedly shouted, screamed and ran around my house like i was possessed, good times =)
Mine would be Moroes, i just love his voice. "Now, where was I? Oh yes..."and he just vanishes midfight and watches us bleed .... a true rogue.
My favourite encounter of them all is Brutallus. Despite him being ugly and the fight being kind of straightforward(well it surely required some tactics and coordination but it was far less complicated than let's say M'uru, well that's a different story :)), I felt really amazing attempting this monster.First of all the epic battle between Brutallus and pre-Felmyst. It really looks amazing and I enjoyed watching it every time we went SWP. Actually when I saw it first time I hoped that the dragon would win but this did not happen. I remember whole guild being interested in that.In addition, the place where we fight Brutallus is a bit uncommon. We usually fight a boss in a room not an open space surrounded by fires. Quite unusual spot makes it even better !Secondly, the big demon with 2 huge razorblades instead of hands adds a thrill and fighting him is terrific! Just by looking at him you start thinking:"Bah! He's so huge! He must be tough and his damage must be excessively high! And it really is! I remember how hard it was for healers to keep the tanks alive and he also had this crushing armor ability(or was it some damage increasment). The other reaction would be:" OMG I WANT HIS WEAPONS !" :DFinally it was the only boss I could wipe weeks on, I have never felt like I would be wasting time on him or gold for repairs. I actually wished we could wipe more on him, we took him down after shameful 2 days :((. I also wish blizzard made more encounters like these(also with these pre-scenes fights, which seems to be very rare but actually epic and fun to watch, even several times !).Unfortunately now in, Cataclyms Baradin's Hold came where such an awesome model which Brutallus had, was blown on some half-brained boss like Argaloth(everyone has done this boss and everyone knows how easy he is).SUCH A POTENTIAL WASTED !That's my all time favourite encounter which I will always miss. Sorry for this wall of text but I really enjoyed writing about Brutallus :D.
My favorite encounter is the Yogg-Saron encounter in Uludar. Preferably 25man because it is so fun with all the people coordinating and running into the portals that you to the brain!
