If you flew out here to the Hissing Grotto because there was a ! on your map showing you a quest to pick up .... you too are an All The Things user and came here wondering why you don't see the quest, just like I did.

Well, that's because there were a whole bunch of other things you (and I!) had to do first. Watch the video, read the guide, whatever works for you. This won't show up until you've done the prep work.

While you're here though, wait around a bit for the black dragon Vazallia to fly in and assume her human visage. She does a long loop and shows up every couple of minutes, then hangs around for a minute or so before taking off again. From her you can pick up A Dragon's Day Off and hunt around for the seven different drinks she wants. Hunt around wowhead, that is, because there are not helpful quest markers for any of it. Your ultimate reward will be the cute battle pet whelpling Spyragos.

Step by step instructions:
First you need to get a Gold Coin of the Isles from fishing or Lunker Threshers. But this is a very rare drop.
Alternatively, you can collect 75 Copper Coin of the Isles, or 5 Silver Coin of the Isles.
1 Silver Coin of the Isles costs 15 Copper Coin of the Isles. Use these to purchase the Gold Coin of the Isles from The Great Swog. You can find him in a cave in Ohn'ahran Plains - coordinates 82,73.

Use the Gold Coin of the Isles to purchase the Immaculate Sac of Swog Treasures from The Great Swog. The sac has a change to contain Aquatic Shades but it is not a 100% drop.

Use the Aquatic Shades and go to the Waking Shores, coordinates 19,36. There is an underwater area and an NPC named Kajiki who comments on your shades, which means that you have done everything correctly so far. Head over to the dancefloor nearby and /dance for 5 minutes. While dancing you should have a debuff Dance, Dance 'Til You're Dead. Make sure you are wearing the glasses before you go to the dancefloor. Once the 5 minutes are up you are automatically teleported out of the water. You will see an Empty Fish Barrel in front of you. Pick it up, and it’s time to catch some fish!

You need to catch the following:

100 Frigid Floe Fish from the Iskaara area in the Azure Span. You can fish anywhere in the open waters. Be sure to have your shades on or you won’t catch any fish! When you catch 100 frigid floe fish, click on the barrel to change it to a Half-Filled Fish Barrel. If you skip this step you will not be able to catch the second batch of fish.
25 Calamitous Carp from the lava rivers east of the Obsidian Citadel in the Waking Shores. Same as before, once you have all 25 fish, click on the barrel to change it to a Brimming Fish Barrel.
1 Kingfin, the Wise Whiskerfish from the waters close to Algeth'ar Academy - coordinates 56,44. The best place to fish for Kingfin is on the platform next to 2 fishing Dracthyr. Remember to have your shades on or you’ll be fishing for nothing. Once you get Kingfin, click on the barrel to have an Overflowing Fish Barrel.

Return to the waking shores to the Hissing Grotto where you picked up the barrel and place your new overflowing fish barrel on the ground - coordinates 20,39. Otto will then appear giving you the quest The Way to an Otto's Heart, and gratz! You’ve got yourself the Otto mount.

A tip while trying to catch this fish, and even the others before: use the Oversized Bobber while fishing, because catching 100 fish while using an oversized bobber will get you the Discombobberlated achievement, giving you the Reusable Oversized Bobber!
